I'ma probably go back and finish vanquish after I beat MGR on revengeance. I still have to finish my playthrough of Godhand as well.


edit: and RDR....I'm just now realizing how big my backlog is.

I've had the Team ICO collection sitting on my shelf for....a year and a half now I think. I need to play it before this holiday season, before I purge my PS3 collection & console.

Still never played either SotC or ICO.

I know, I know, but I have played it, I just haven't beaten it yet. Stopped shortly after arriving in Mexico.

Life happened and I just played less and less games for a while. Looking forward to beating it and playing undead nightmare. Strangely enough I found the time last week to beat Sleeping Dogs after getting it on psn last week.

Played Ico recently. The puzzle solving and the minimal atmosphere is cool, but the combat and the escort mission shit wasn't. Stopped playing after a few hours, don't really want to go back. Still wanna try SotC though, now that they fixed the PS2's framerate

Space is an issue though. Im down to 13gb on my 120gb HD. There are a bunch of games coming up on that sale that are going to be in that $5-$3 range. I might delete all my BF3 stuff that game is such a damn memory hog.

That's why I've been putting it off. There's this established notion that 'everyone should experience this game'. However, the game is old and I don't know if I'll have the best experience with it---given how much games have evolved in recent years.

I thought Borderlands 1 was boring and slow couldn't finish it......but for some reason to me Borderlands 2 was actually pretty good. beat it a few times

Yea I was like that for a few years too. I remember playing like the first 3 chapters of Uncharted 2 and Fallout and then putting it down (and games altogether) for school/work for a couple of months. Took me awhile to get back uncharted 2, but I eventually finished it. Loved it alot actually.

Just installed sleeping dogs on my pc but I need to finish the witcher. My backlog is fucking huge and I have 18 credit hours this semester. Oh shit I haven't played RDR either. How bad have I fucked up?

Deus Ex and Uncharted 1 + 2 and Borderlands 2 are still in the shrink wrap as well. There just isn't enough time these days :(

Maaaaaan, I'm one of those dudes with the old 20gb HDD. I'm moving big files around on 16gb flashdrives and shit now. I wanna get Metal Gear HD too, if the price is right. Metal Gear Rising put in the mood for more Kojima wackiness.

Arkham city was a great game, bar the end plot-wise. Gameplay was spot on and I especially loved sneaking around and using gadgets in creative ways (especially in 'you know what' boss fight). Don't think I'll ever play it again though as I got burnt out because I tried to complete all the trophies and some of the time trial challenges really pissed me off. Flying around and throwing dudes into the ground was an awesome feeling though.

The one thing I dislike about having less free time or expendable cash is that I am always LTTP by about 6-12 months on the big games. So by the time I first start playing them GAF has mostly moved on. I'll probably start playing Rising in October, lol.

I think the protags poor swordsman ship really added to the atmosphere in ico, same with protecting Yorda. These kind of things probably diminish with time though seeing as it was a launch ps2 title. I love that game and it's another game I have to revisit after I finish SoTC on my hd collection.

Sure thing, it's not much though. Probably stuff you already have. Skyrim, Fallout, GTA, Borderlands 1 (could never get into it for some reason), Saints Row, etc...

On the subject of RDR. The story is soooo good. Left me wanting for a genuine movie adaptation directed by the Coen Bros.

Thanks Toph. But man, I will not touch a Bethesda game on a Sony console with a fucking 10 foot pole after the shit they pulled this gen. It's apparent their system coders are incompetent as fuck and we know for a fact that their QA is garbage. Skyrim became just barely playable after a ton of patching and half a year of waiting. Not to mention they only JUST released the DLC. I should have just waited for PC.

I will probably play RDR next on your impressions.

I definitely can't fault you for that. Fallout3/New Vegas/Skyrim were unplayable until several patches in. The DLC for all of those games (with the exception of Skyrim) rendered those games yet again unplayable. Against my better judgment, like a crackhead to his pusher, I continue to give them money. I just really liked Skyrim...when it was working. That plus I felt I had invested too much in my character to just walk away.

TTT2 another game in my backlog, I haven't spent nearly enough time with that game. Might be for the best because when I get sucked into a fighter, I really get sucked in.

Chun is my main in SF4 (fave SF character) and I remember playing her in 3s for the first time. It was like "Whoa. Now I'm playing with power."

I tend to lose more with her than Ryu in 3s cause I let the brokeness go to my head. "Lol you picked Twelve? Lol noob. Hold this cr m into super...What? Skill? Who needs that shit? I'm Chun Li, bitch. Now excuse me while I slap the sky on the ass with these back+H's."
