I'm going to go into this with lowered expectations, expecting the worst (i.e. the "leaked" conference). Despite the popular opinion, I thought MS' conference was horrible. Even the FFXIII announcement couldn't salvage that mess, since I do not care about RPGs at all. It's up to Sony to make this E3 worth it.

MS wasnt that bad, the FF announcement made zero effect for me too (dont really care about RPGs let alone JRPGs :lol ) but the games they showed at the begining looked good.

IMO, MS conference peaked right at the beginning and tapered off. Nintendo's never peaked. :lol

I know I'm in the minority here since I don't play RPG's, but the FF thing is sort of meaningless to me. Although I'm sure I'll be hearing about it from my friend at work who claims it and Metal Gear are the only reasons to own a PS3.

Sony just needs to show a GOW3 teaser and they will be redeemed in my mind. Add something from Uncharted 2 plus more footage from Infamous, and I'll be really happy.

My bold prediction for Sony's conference:

They'll talk about how they're beating Microsoft in sales, but unfortunately forget about Nintendo. They'll show some footage of games we already knew about, and announce that they're working on Home and it'll go into beta some time in September, maybe. Everyone will cry.

People are expecting surprises.... that's where we all fear they won't deliver. We are already expecting all the things listed throughout the thread as a bare minimum to make up for the massacre yesterday.

I just can't help but feel pessimistic.
