LOL that camera shake.

Well, CDEC looked pretty damn strong there, but I haven't seen them play any "real" teams yet. One thing I can say though is that they had really strong positioning.

camera bumping into something lol

So is this newcomer stream listed in the OP a lie or something
guess they aren't doing it for this wildcard qualifier

Once a day during the main event, we're putting together a special broadcast featuring a live match with special commentary aimed at easing people into understanding the exciting world of Dota.

No noob stream till the main event according to Pyrion - however Purge is doing the next game, probably not too noob friendly though

This stuff is during the main event but not the actual games, which is going to be a good thing for getting people up to speed for the actual games

All the wild card matches seem to be more aggressive with higher/quicker kills than any of the previous TI's I've watched. Am I just imaging it, or is there some reason for the change?

The reduced gold from creeps, if nothing else, is one such reason. Easier to deathball off a few hero kills and stay ahead.

MVP can't catch a break, it seems.

All of the changes in 6.84 make team fighting far more valuable than farming creeps.

The AoE gold and xp change leads to more farmed supports who can make more impact in team fights.

The nerf to creep gold means that passively farming can't really get you a giant advantage.

Thanks guys.

What was that body block? Seems like a hard choke.

That was a ~2s body block from a dazzle who came to save the enigma...

The best thing is, he had grave and heal ready too but didn't use either, not even upon blocking enigma for so long. Seriously I would've raged bad if a support failed this badly on me.

Games have been pretty good today, going to miss most of the group stages but hope Col don't get completely crushed in every game and that C9 do well although

seems more likely

CDEC deserves their spot. They looked miles better than the other 3 teams today.

This MVP.Phoenix v Vega game is going places. Much better than Game 1.
