So far the game on normal is *super* easy. I'm curious whether I just haven't gotton to anything that's hard... or the hard mode is *really* hard.... or you people are weak.

(I'm equipped with like a crap ton of HP+100%'s and 4 power wrists).

I haven't had any problems at all on hard, and this is before I get any good equipment or Materia. I played through normal on the JP version and was bored with the main quest towrads the end.

Is the music good?
This is the one part of the game that has failed to impress me so far. It's generic metal crap with a few nods to the FF7 score here and there. The music is pretty bad in it IMO.

Great game, but I have one lingering question after beating the game. How the fuck does the buster sword stick to peoples backs? I never noticed a hook or clip that allows it stay on. Even in the higher quality CGs it just sticks to Zack and Angeal's backs. Are they magnetic? For some reason I don't find dudes with one wing being able to fly wierd, but this really bothers me.

I got the Buster Sword and I can already see myself shedding MAN TEARS from Crisis Core. Fuck this game is good.

For some reason, I thought you had beaten the game already. Yes, man tears are in your future.

Yeah, just happened to d/l the newly available CC theme while grabbing the R-Type demo. Pretty neat, a unique character heading each menu column. It is in the in-game style though, so you get stuck with Gacktified Genesis under the Music (...) column.

I think the game is more difficult on normal mode depending on how you play. If you do a lot of missions, I'd imagine the game is really easy, since it's good for grinding and you get lots of good abilities and materia. I've been having a fair difficulty. It's not super easy but it's not truly difficult either. It's medium for me but that's because I have uhh 3-4% of missions done. I haven't been doing them much at all. Also, take into account that the DMW is entirely random. Some fights you'll get a limit break 4-5 times in a row. This can REALLY change the pace of the fights considering it is entirely random. And let's not forget Invincible and No AP and stuff. The DMW altogether is shit.

I got the Buster Sword and I can already see myself shedding MAN TEARS from Crisis Core. Fuck this game is good.

I've only done like 15% and I feel overpowered. I don't plan on doing much more, than maybe the materia and precious item ones.

Saw the ending. So sad. I really wish the game was ported to PS2. The gameplay looks excellent too from the videos I've seen. :(

It's fuckin trippy too! How about a Crisis Core FF7 remake for PS3?:lol

so, I stopped by my local best buy to check out some HDTVs, and see which one I want.

Decided to stop by the PSP aisle, and see how FF7 CC is doing.

SOLD OUT BITCHES

my 200k March dream might be coming true in 3 weeks!

You actually care that much about sales? Why? Do you work for them?

My second order (with UMD case) came in. Hard to tell, but the opened one on the right is the silver BB version. The still-sealed regular one on the left is going to some happy (I hope) GAFfer!

Not that I remember.

Good cause I'm on the last mission in the Wutai first set of missions and I'm getting my ass rocked by tomahawk attack cause my HP isn't high enough to withstand but I'm getting materia level ups and 1 level up so far (13)

Normal is extremely easy... at least, the main storyline missions are. I found that the sidemissions are extremely hard (but doable). Might be due to the abundance of instant death attacks... I haven't found an accessory to counter that yet, if it even exists and I've already been potion binging at the Shinra building. :(

music is...very un-japanese. i am indifferent abt the metal battle theme, but i really did like the western angeal/genesis town theme...that was very different for a jrpg, but a very melodious and nice track nonetheless.

woot, i beat that last boss in first wutai round and beat all the seeking item missions for first round. Only at 5%, this game is addictive already. Maybe I should do some of the story now.

Yeah I was doing the same thing. I think the majority of the time I've spent playing has been doing missions and trying to figure out the best materia fusion combinations.

Doing the missions as well. forgot all about the actual game :lol

So there's Easy, Normal, Hard, and Very Hard. that's all the difficulty for missions?

John Harker

Definitely doesn't make things up as he goes along.
Hands down, the best character is Kunsel.

Too bad we don't get to learn more about him

I am doing the same. I do missions for a few stints then move along. I just reached
Modeoheim (mispelled?).
Loving this game.

10 MILLION HP??!!

EDIT: Also wanted to add that I'm glad this isn't a Cloud whore fest. I'm really pleased with the way they fleshed Zack out.

The ending was
AMAZING! I replayed that whole sequence 2 more time cuz i couldn't get enough of it.

I really liked Cessnei. I wonder what's the deal with her real name. My wild guess is she's actually Jesse. Same wavey brown hair, and makes sense she'd hate Shinra after this...

My play time is up to 9hrs now and I absolutely love the game so far. No complaints except for that stupid
stealth mission
.

The new PSP theme is pretty wicked also.

Who's Jesse? Was that one of the AVALANCHE members?
