Really? Mir had knocked him down multiple times already, and Nog was not defending himself. Even if you think that that stoppage was early, I don't know how you can complain about "early UFC stoppages" when the refs let 2 other matches tonight go for quite a long time in ground and pound.

he isn't the same nog as he was back when he fought in pride. those beatings nog has taken were always gonna catch up to him and it looks like they finally have. nog looked like an old boxer.

Edmonton's milkshake attracts no boys.
Nog SHOULD have been given some time to defend and maybe pull gaurd. I wasn't expecting him to get up and start slugging but.. dude shoulda been given more time.

It was fair imo. Mir would have just pounded him more to was out or pull away and knock him down again:lol

well yeah, but I was referring more to his more recent ufc fights.

edit: I do agree it was a fair stoppage however. hehe. I just don't think he was out or fucked at all

I'm nervous for Forrest, you never know how he's going to do in a fight. I don't think he's going to win this one. I'd be pleasantly surprised if he did.

Fighting in the cage had nothing to do with this loss. Mir didn't push him up against the cage, take him down, or run. He was in Nog's face all night tagging him. The only pride fighter that even has a feasible excuse is the Cop and only because he got taken down and pushed against the fence in his UFC loses.

I have 'Shad in this one. People always count him out and he always finds a way to win anyways.

Is Rashad going to run in this fight? If he doesn't FG takes it, hell even if he does run FG takes it. He's just that crazy backyard son of a bitch that keeps coming.
