The ROG Ally was released more than a year ago, and MS have done nothing to improve the handheld experience since then.

MS only cares about AI and Azure. Everything else is meh to them and the shareholders. Look how they treat Xbox and they have a fantastic console…

In terms of getting Windows to better support for the emerging handheld PC market, the Windows ship is gonna take a loooooooong time to turn. If you expected large changes in a year, that's on you; Microsoft's massive 800 pound gorilla is a lot of heft to coordinate. They're always late to the party for a reason.

You're talking about a major update for Windows, a core bedrock platform for Microsoft. I understand that a year seems like a long time, but for a project like this it's not even close to enough.

They know and understand the need, we even have Phil commenting on this. But the realities of engineering, safety, testing.. It's going to be a bit y'all. Set expectations accordingly.
Utter crap they already have a windows 11 Linux no gpu based os for servers. Tweak it and remote telephone home shit and add dx12 they could easily make this but they don’t want to fragment their efforts.
