With the amount of PS5 Pro patches already dropped, i'd have expected them to want impressions out there especially given the fact you can still pre-order for day 1 pretty much everywhere.

I already have, most games that are enhanced already have their patches, why wait for the day before to let people give impressions on them when they have lots of unsold inventory?

They need time to write up the impressions, as do game reviews. Thus it gives everyone a fair shake to have their impressions in order for that release day.
