TOP 3 HD or Remaster titles that you want.

Silent Hill 2, 3, and 4.
Viewtiful Joe 1 and 2
Rival Schools 2 aka Project Justice

Silent Hill was already remastered and it was atrocious.

1. Red Dead Redemption
2. Dragons Dogma

ITT games without PC ports.

Shining Soul 2

Final Fantasy Tactics Advance + 2

Ogre Battle: March of the Black Queen

If upscaled correctly, sprite based games look very good in high-resolution.

Example being, Shovel Knight. The individual sprites are actually very low-resolution, but the game still looks excellent at 4K.

Without getting too farfetched or wandering into remake (instead of remaster) territory...

1. Final Fantasy XII

2. Assassin's Creed: Ezio Trilogy

3. Super Mario Galaxy 1 & 2

If we're talking remakes, I think Resident Evil 2 and Final Fantasy VII are perfect candidates. I hesitate to say Final Fantasy IX, as it's pretty perfect as-is, and could maybe use a remaster at most. Part of me just wants it to never be touched.

Dark Cloud 1 + 2 ...with Dark Cloud 3 demo

Warhawk (Id say SOCOM 2, but Im thinking that spiritual successor will do)...with Warhawk 2 beta

Power Stone 1 + 2... with Power Stone 3 beta

nope. remaster = sprucing up an existing game's graphics, with some tweaks, but it's largely the same game. remake = complete overhaul of everything, remade from the ground up. ie. REmake = remake. TLoU Remastered = remaster.

having said that,

Remasters:
1) Bioshock - this should be relatively easy. just port the pc release at max settings. matter of fact they should do this for infinite as well.
2) MGS1 - just the pc release at 1080p/60 with better textures, maybe some lighting improvements and the like. leave everything else untouched
3) Mass Effect 1/2/3 - as with bioshock, just give me a maxed out pc port

Remakes:
1) RE2 - give it the REmake treatment
2) Super Metroid - keep it 2D or 2.5D and just make it look amazing. added abilities, bosses, a NG+ would be nice as well.
3) Wizards and Warriors - as a souls-like game, but with an emphasis on platforming

@ you Super metroid remake - OH GOSH yes, can you image this baby on the Wii u
with like smash bros Graphics, I mean They already have the 3d model from reilley and samus and other galore ...yummmy.

1. Final Fantasy XII
2. Dragon's Dogma
3. Demon's Souls (only if last archstone was released and big graphical improvements)

Dragons's Dogma
Red Dead Redemption
Crysis (for the current consoles)

Zelda TP and SS I would want a full remake, not just a remaster.
Ditto for Demon's Souls

Do that many people really prefer FFXII over the PSX trilogy? Or are they just picking it because it feels like a more realistic request and/or they have FFVII remake burnout?

1. Gravity Rush
2. Final Fantasy XII
3. Xenosaga Trilogy

Edit: 4. Skies of Arcadia (Thanks for the reminder guys)

Damn it's hard to pick my top 3, already had to include a fourth I'd really want badly and still leaving out stuff like Xenoblade (looks great in Dolphin, and they'd hopefully make HD character models), and Dragon Quest VIII.

3. Gravity Rush I suppose. I've got it on the Vita and love it, but ever since that listing of a remaster leaked, I can't escape all those thoughts of how truly awesome it would be on the PS4.

Yup. I can't help but imagine how good that art style would look and how good the sequel made for it would look.

Red Dead Redemption.

Almost all multiplat games I've played on PC so a 1080p/60fps remake of Mass Effect and the like aren't appealing at all. But RDR, it would benefit so much from a framerate and resolution bump. The game is gorgeous.

  1. REZ
  2. Red Dead Redeption
  3. Final Fantasy XII

1.) Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic

2.) Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II

3.) Halo 1-4 (but for PC)

1. Dragon's Dogma
2. Red Dead Redepmtion
3. Can't think of one, just those two. Everything else I want is already 60fps or released on PC.

1. SoulCalibur III HD (with Arcade Edition improvements and Online)
2. Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen Remastered
3. Max Payne 3 Remastered

1. Halo 1-4 done by a competent team like Bluepoint. imagine playing these games all from one disc on ded servers
2. Socom 2 with s1 and s2 maps
3. Mario Galaxies. I know I can use Dolphin, but having it officially in HD would be great.
4. RDR

1. Mass Effect Trilogy
2. Red Dead Redemption
3. CoD 4

1. Halo 1-4 done by a competent team like Bluepoint. imagine playing these games all from one disc on ded servers
How funny, Halo 1-4 are on one disc and can be played on dedis already.

3) Wizards and Warriors - as a souls-like game, but with an emphasis on platforming

I was just thinking about this franchise yesterday. It was huge at one point. All my school friends loved Ironsword.

I wish someone would resurrect it. I don't even know who owns the IP at this point; it was published by Acclaim, whose licenses are scattered to the four winds, but it was originally developed by Rare.

EDIT: I found this: "While Wizards & Warriors III hinted at a sequel at the end of the game, it has not happened. The publishing rights for the series remained with Acclaim, who went bankrupt in 2004, with their intellectual property rights going to Throwback Entertainment. As of late 2010, the Toronto-based company has no plans for any future games in the series."

Doesn't look like Throwback Entertainment is doing a whole lot with Acclaim's properties. What a shame.

1. Dark Cloud 1/2. Don't care for 2 much but it would make sense to have both in a collection.

2. Dynasty Warriors 3/4/5 with all addons. Would keep me busy for an eternity.

3. Mega Man X Collection. There is one for the PS2 I have but I'd like it in HD with trophies, might as well tack on 7 and 8 even though I despise them both.

Metroid Prime Trilogy without forcing motion controls.

I actually don't care if it doesn't look any better, I'd just like to play it without a wiimote

# 1 - Shenmue - Really want to play it for the first time but I don't have a Dreamcast and I neve managed to properly setup a Dreamcast emulator.

# 2 - Mass Effect - One of my favorite franchises of the last-gen. Would love to replay ME1 and 2 in 1080p/60fps and with some better textures.

# 3 - Final Fantasy VII - Never played it, the orignal version feels to dated now.

This is exactly why it's time for this.

you know, i never much cared for the sequels. i liked the original with it's sense isolation and basic set-up. plus dat soundtrack

-Super Mario Sunshine HD (with tweaked camera and maybe a little bonus content for fun)
-Doom 3 (MAXED out, 60fps, splitscreen co-op, some old DOOM levels added as a bonus mission)
-Metroid Prime HD (yes, 1080p, still 60fps, improved textures, possibly improved models where needed, bonus/side mission with Kraid?)

My top 3:

1) Folklore
2) 3D Dot Game Heroes
3) Level 5 Collection: Dark Cloud 1, Dark Cloud 2, and Rogue Legacy. Bonus Ni No Kuni for an extra 15-$20.

Ya know! They should make a God of War Quadrilogy(1,2,3 Ascension) using ascensions engines and assets.

That would be glorious, I love the changes Ascension made. Worst case (current) scenario though is I can play all but 3/Ascension on my Vita, and soon 3 on PS4.

Metroid Prime HD Collection
Super Mario Galaxy HD Collection
Final Fantasy 12 International HD Collection.

With the NX already one the table and the wiiu a commercial failure, I really wouldnt not mind if nintendo chose to ride out the generation with HD remasters of gc/wii games.
