Wasn't Warriors Orochi Z supposed to be that, in a sense? Never came to the west though...

But yeah, I'd take just about anything in the style of the old games. Still my favorites.

Man, I completely forgot about this one too, I was lucky to play the Arcade Edition of SCIII at my local arcade (which sadly closed down a few years back) and loved it to bits.

Would love to see a HD version come out like SCII, especially as it's coming up to the 10th anniversary of this underrated entry to the series, and perhaps it could drum up interest for the rumoured 6th installment.

Super Mario 64. Remade to look as good as 3D world.

Body Harvest. Remade to look as good as GTA V.

Metroid. Any of them. Either 2D ones remade in true HD (sprites only) or re-release the prime gamed and other M in full HD.

Well... Resident Evil 0 is already on it's way. TimeSplitters Rewind is a thing, although I have to be very patient.

I think you are right that it is a combination of both games, but yeah, it never came to the west. I wasn't about to import a copy of it years later for like 70 bucks. Plus, I prefer the English dub like the heathen I am.

DW4 is my favorite, I'd take just that in HD with a remastered OST. One of my favorite OST's of all time.

And a Warcraft II remaster would be really hype for me. They could even port it on consoles for shits and giggles, since it was ported to the PS1 back in the day.

Super Mario Galaxy 1+2 for Remasters for sure. FFXII as well. Both are ripe for it.

FF7 for the full-blown remake. I've wanted it since it was first rumoured for the PS2.
 
Honestly, my list of three were games from PS3 that I missed out on and wanted to play.

The Last of Us: Remastered already got me covered for one.

The Uncharted Series and Journey remasters are coming out this year so I'm pretty happy :D

Diablo II + LoD expansion with new animations in HD.

The Sega Saturn classic never saw a western release and man this would be glorious.
 
I enjoyed Scholar of the First Sin at 60fps so I really wouldn't mind Dark Souls 1 remaster. Aside from that, Final Fantasy 12 and Red Dead Redemption maybe.

Yeah. If VI needs time in the oven, getting a competent dev to push out III HD would be an adequate way of filling that gap.

And some folks say that a non-buggy, rebalanced SoulCalibur III (ie, the Arcade Edition) with the vanilla game's features & modes could be the best game in the whole series.

I want to see it happen.

You challenge me with trickery?

Nah, I like the dubs too. Did without for Orochi 3, but it didn't heighten the experience or anything. Even through language barriers, I could tell that the voice acting was Dyansty Warriors tier.

DW5 is my favorite of all time (as well as my favorite OST of the series), but DW4 isn't far behind. I just think 5 is balanced a little better. 4 has some fights that are just ridiculous. Like killing Lu Bu at Xiapi in your first run through Wei's story mode? It takes almost the whole allotted hour. I understand him being super hard at Hu Lao gate, but there he's only optional. They don't scale him down even slightly at Xiapi. It wouldn't be so bad, only he's got super armor, can musou attack with no prior warning, and your allies are useless. And you have to defeat him with chip damage. And if you wait around for too long, he'll heal, whereas you've got to run around the map and find a spare food pot.

In DW5, they still made the fight hard, but it's doable. I still do love 4 a lot though. It's probably my third favorite, after 5 and Orochi 1. It was my first Warriors game. :]

Because it should have happened already, I imagine FFX did quite well considering it made it near the top of the charts here. Plus I really want to play the game with the Zodiac Job System. Ideally it would come to PS4 and Vita, if I could play one then go out and continue playing, that would be ace.

Easily one of my favourite series that sadly died thanks to Assault Horizon, I would love to play the three best games of the series again but more beautiful.

  • Mass Effect Trilogy
One of the best set of games we got last gen, I am still raw about that bullshit ending, but the games were still great fun to play and I spent so much time playing them I would love to again without having to move back a generation.

Its highly likely that we won't be dealing with remasters next-gen. Thanks to the change we went through going from exotic CPU design of last gen console to typical x86-64 you get in almost any PC that we have now, as long as they follow what they have been saying we shouldn't have any real issues playing PS4 games on a PS5.
