It'd be nearly impossible to make happen unless Sony got the Crash IP back, but

Crash Team Racing HD with online play, 4-player split-screen races with AI, no tracks restricted from split-screen, custom cup construction, and custom item settings for versus races (so you don't have 4th player getting nothing but clocks and warp orbs because of probabilities)

And don't even think about touching the core gameplay.

1. Twilight Princess, remake the entire game and use proper audio tracks instead of midi tracks.
2. Final Fantasy 7, remake this from the ground up.
3. Half Life 1 & 2, remake 1 and remaster 2. Release with Half Life 3 as a complete trilogy.
 
Geez, there's so many. My top three are probably:

1. F-Zero GX (this is #1 by a mile, especially if they added in new content / online play)
2. Metroid Prime 1 / 2 / 3
3. Super Mario 64

Really? No ranks, every patch breaks something new. Including aiming. Never heard of a game tournament being cancelled because a game is broken before MCC.

The 343 protectors are gettting old. Its a broken game they halfassed and suckered people to pay for.

Hmmm, in no particular order...

1. Metal Gear Rising. (At least if a MGR2 isn't coming and more effort beyond just up-res)

Runner up is Mass Effect Trilogy if it came with all the dlc, but I think I'd want demons souls more now...

I think it's nice to wish things too, but all you have to do is look at the newer editions of Tomb Raider, Sleeping Dogs, and Metro Last Light that were also "Remastered" for PC and you'll see that it wasn't weird architecture that lead to the current remastering craze. I believe this under powered generation is going to be very skippable because these exclusives will be rereleased in the first few years of the PS5.
 
Just the Mass Effect trilogy with you being able to import your multiplayer manifest to the ME3 mp. At some point I'll get a new laptop that can probably handle most gen 7 games much better than my old Xbox 360 did.
 
I'd go with all ps1 era games as those games need tye most cleaning up.

1) panzer dragoon saga - for years this was regarded as one of the best rigs if all time. That's all died down now, probably because nobody has played it.

2) Megaman legends collection. i never got to play this but I suspect the controls will make this not a lot of fun today. Out in today's controls though and I would be there day 1 for this.

3) Tomb Raider 2. I have this neck and neck with RE2. Like mml, the controls on this are unplayable now. Would love better graphics and controls.

Sega lost all source code and assets for the game. It's never going to happen unless they rebuild it from scratch.

  2. Curse of Monkey Island - HD Cell Animations, better-integrated hints, etc.
  3. Rayman Trilogy HD - Rayman 1 redone in UbiArt engine with option to switch between different art styles, Rayman 2 & 3 with improved level design & extra stages.

It would be nice, but I have little faith in Square to pull any of those properly.
 
I think I'm more or less set at this point. Half of my top ten favourite games have gotten or are getting the HD treatment (The Last of Us, Uncharted 2, Metal Gear Solid 3, Journey, Zone of the Enders 2).

That said, I really would love the Mass Effect trilogy to make a running leap over to the new consoles. I'd happily buy both packs on Xbox One and PS4 (I already have all three games on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC so why the hell not).

Plus, if for some reason or what not, if Konami puts out MGS3 (and just MGS3, though if they put out the HD Collection as a whole, I won't complain) onto PS4 and Xbox One (maybe even PC), I will buy the shit out of that game. I'll buy the game on whatever platform it's on, in fact.
