I'd say not to worry mate, Amazon nor Game have charged or given firm delivery dates either for PS5, I would guess progress about a week out from launch.My Smyth order says “Still in progress” and I haven’t received a delivery date nor have I been charged. Getting abit worried now

In the same boat. Not worried, still basically 2 weeks until launch. I expect the charge to be next week. I think I will be ok as I got the pre-order in straight away when they opened theirs up. (digital edition).

Amazon just sent me an email for the XBSX saying my order had been upgraded for day 1 shipping... even though I'm Prime and it already was. Good to have confirmation I guess!

anyone know what amazon does if no one is in? recently moved and the delivery is going to a empty house.. i was hoping i could change delivery address after it was shippped from the courier's side but its just amazon and no way to redirect...

If it's small they sometimes leave it at the door. But they're not going to leave the PS5 at the door.
I would contact support and see what they say, maybe you could ask a neighbour to take it?
Couriers just depend on your local area.
My Hermes person is fantastic. Never had a bad experience. Always on time, always left in the right place, friendly interaction.
On the flip side, despite having good visibility on when something is arriving some of the DPD people are utter shit, from skipping visits to only waiting 2 seconds before walking away which happened again just last week but equally, the DPD guy at work is a boss.

You mean the one with the tracking number? There's been activity with my order today and it's no longer a pre-order - its "processing" in the orders section. I got the 'preparing your order for next collection' email earlier today. They are shipping everything together so Pulse and Console will arrive next week.Tomorrow should be when I get my shipping email from ShopTo, hopefully you get yours too! They're starting to process orders for collection next week

I see Amazon have removed the Series X page, it just leads to the controller now. Maybe to stop people selling them at ridiculous prices. I guess they won't have inventory day 1 online.

Just a heads up, my xbox x is arriving today(UK), Payment was taken last week but they have charged me again this morning leaving no money on my card for my PS5 pre order. Shit needs reversing ASAP. Currently in a que of 300 people on support.

My Series X is due by 2pm UK. UPS from MS direct.
Series S collected from Tesco, they only had 11 total sent to them (X and S) , lady said I was very lucky lol.

Spoke to a friend of mine Currys has stock for both in some stores, so may be worth phoning your local store. Interestingly the ratio is 2:1 in favour of the X.
The Series S is now visible again though can't add to the basket - but at least will help you check your local store stock if you really want the S.
