What's happened to music, and especially English music?
I want to see some good bands pop up.
I dunno, it's not all bad. Los Campesionos and Slow Club are my two favourite acts right now, and they're both fairly modern. Lots of good stuff around if you know the right rocks to look under.
But it's the crowds that get me. Band plays great song, has nice melody, crowd bounces around like a bunch of cunts going "do do do-do do" whenever there aren't words to sing to. Shut it you cunts!

That's... pretty unforgivable. It's weird to think that our generation has easier access to music than pretty much any in history, yet some actually seem to get more ignorant.

I don't get the James Corden hate. Although I don't particularly find him that funny, I enjoy the shows he's on, like League and Gavin. The Comic Relief sketches as Smithy were alright as well. The wife says that his book is a bit shit though.

There's always good music about, just the music is barely known.

GAME don't actually have enough money to stock many new titles. Ditch them.
I had a gift card and I traded in two games - Arkham Asylum, Fable 2 - as I assumed they would have it. So I have to go back sometime and buy something from them. I should buy some e-shop points or a year of live, since MGS collection and Test Drive Ferrari are the only new games I want.
Ignorance is bliss as far as Corden is concerned then. I've only seen Gavin and Stacey, History Boys and League of their Own and he's tolerable in all of them. If he's showing up everywhere and on everything then so are you, only he's getting paid to do it and you're only happy to observe it.

I think so. There will always be a requirement for a specialist games retailer, especially second hand games so I expect game shops will survive but they will be independent and not run by the idiots that run GAME.

It is my duty to point out that James Corden is not a complete cunt. He supports the mighty West Ham United FC, and therefore true cuntiness is forever beyond him. I will admit he does occasionally come across as a bit of a twat, but that's as far as I'll go.

I don't think James Corden is a cunt. Allow me to explain.
I never watched Gavin and Stacey so I have no idea of whether it was good or not. From my POV I just saw this fat, unfunny "comedian" slowly taking over my television. There was no common thread or link to any of his stuff, he just seemed to be getting on chat shows, pannel shows, Doctor fucking Who, hosting award ceremonies, etc, essentially forcing himself on to anything on my own personal television, without any rhyme or reason.
As I was inevitably subjected to his material, I realised that he was completely unfunny. Like, one of the least funniest people on TV. His material is so bad that I immediately switch the channel the moment that I see him, because I'm embarrassed for him and I'm physically unable to sit through such horrors. After my initial anger, I became rather impressed. How does such an unfunny bastard manage to get these gigs and rake in so much money, critical acclaim, celebrity friends, and public affection? It's a question that still baffles me. With a lot of comedians I can accept that their material just isn't to my personal taste, so I just chalk them off and don't even think about it, but James Corden barely has any material, he's one of the least funniest people on TV and yet he's killing it. I'm impressed.
