Sully is going to die.
I'm on this boat with you. Naughty Dog please don't pull a Top Gun and kill the best character.
Sully is going to die.
I don't go digging for your posts but already called you out on that thread only on memory alone. Keep on making sensationalist posts though. It seems you re good at that. I don't ignore anyone but I have 2 eyes and 2 ears. I read and ingest a lot and often don't comment. Your posts sometimes come up and make me shake my head. I don't have to point these things out a lot and that's why I myself don't try to have overreactions or hyperbolic statements.
If you think you want to line up the future downgrade thread then put it on your calender. I don't even think it's important as ND is a world class dev.
Can a PS4 not playback pre-recorded footage?
Heh, I admire your enthusiasm. Tomorrow it is then.

We’re targeting 60fps for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, and as you can see, the visual fidelity for our character models will reach new heights. In fact, thanks to the power of PS4, right now Drake’s Uncharted 4 model is over double the polygons of Joel from The Last of Us PS3.
My understanding of things was that in-engine means it's running in real-time using the engine, but it's not gameplay. Hasn't that always been what that means?

UC3 spoilers:Again?
That's swell

I love the fact that they themselves labeled it as a "gamersyde" trailer.
ALL OVER MY BODY!
ALL OVER MY FACE!
yes, but they specifically said:
They're saying that's an exact indication of the character model we're going to see. And that's before we even get the interview.
By jarring I don't mean it's offensive to me or I'm getting physically ill at all. I just mean it's surprising. Unexpected. I can get used to 60fps as soon as I play it, but from first impression based off that trailer I thought it looked weird. I'm all for 60fps if they can hit it and keep it smooth, I just wasn't expecting it from Uncharted.![]()

My jaw dropped when I saw the trailer.
No my man, that's just how you're interpreting it.
Ok look. All I'm saying is that I don't expect that fidelity (ultra high poly grass, lighting, insane character model, liquid physics, and volumetric mist/fog) to be present at that same time at 1080p at 60fps. I just dont, and I think that's a safe bet.
Until I'm convinced other wise, it's all carefully worded hot air.
It's in-engine with a character model that's double the complexity. That doesn't tell us anything Amir0x.
Water trickling down his nose too while he got up.
These little tiny details are a waste of resources in a gameplay scenario because people would hardly notice them from the regular camera angle
Is such a thing even possible?
Just look at his forearms. Insane amounts of detail.

Listen, if you want to ridiculously be skeptical, that's on you. And there's no way this game is going to be 60fps.
But this was not CG.
The real thing I'm wondering about is image quality. They have some insane image quality. Shit looks downsampled.
Sully is going to die.
Probably using a forward plus renderer so they can have MSAA combined with temporal AA like The Order.
maybe, but even The Order doesn't look this clean. This is just insanity if the game comes out looking this clean
If you're wrong. You should be demoted.I'd believe the same thing about the cutscenes in uncharted 2 and 3. Captured on the engine rendered by a PS3*
*at 15fps recorded to a 30fps fmv
I don't care what Naughty Dog says about this particular render, the full game will nor maintain that level of detail, full guns blazing.
If I'm wrong, then I fucking win anyway.
Nicely looped. Bootyful. And have a gif

Un-fucking-real, can't wait to see more.
The Order doesn't have it's temporal solution or shader AA solution applied yet.
Looks real time.
