I liked this side of him.Yeah I thought he'd be too timid and get rolled. I had no idea he had that kind of fire. He was a fact-spitting machine once he got warmed up. Incredible responses to Pence's vague spin.
The biggest surprise was how forceful Kaine was, I didn't expect that.
Pence is the better debater. His problem is everything Trump. Kaine didn't control the pace and interrupted a bit much. My gut says Pence won, but he couldn't deny almost any accusation against Trump. Good face, little substance.
If Trump loses, I feel like anyone that stood with him along the way will have doomed their future.
SAYS WHO
CBS audience says Pence won, only one or two thought Kaine won.
I listened to half the debate on the radio, the other half on TV.
Kaine won on radio, Pence on TV.
And its a shame most voters only care about one of those things.PBS folks saying Pence won style but Kaine won on substance.
Interesting.
Who is Lance Holt?
I want to strangle almost everyone in this Frank Luntz group.
Elaine Quijano will be a googled name lol
wonder whyyyyyy
My view:
In the end, this debate will matter nil to the next two. All Kaine had to do was not fuck up, and he didn't.
Per capita GDP on a ppp basis for the us: 55805
For the EU: 37852
So yeah not even close. The aggregates don't mean much.
I see your point, wonder how the debate would have gone if he didn't have to go on the defensive so often because of trump.
There's no question that Pence was the more composed debater, but I really don't think Trump comes out of this looking any better, and that's what the real purpose of this was about.
Yeah, he stood his ground much better than I expected him to.
I still think he lost on style but well exceeded my expectations on substance (which Pensi was largely lacking on)
I missed like the last 45 minutes of the debate. What is this a reference to? Did she do bad moderating or something else?

Pence clearly won, unfortunately. But I doubt it matters. As a Clinton supporter, I'm glad this is the only VP Debate.
I mean, really, do you think any person is going to decide their position based on this debate?
Wow This lady is the queen of REACHINGGGG.
Tried to say that Kaine was sexist because he interrupted the moderator
I like Pence more stylistically, but after a rough opening Kaine was pretty effective, and by the final third he was really good.

Pence looked more composed and uh, solid. Think he won this one.
Those who are saying that either Pence or Kaine handily won: Are you judging that based on your perception of who was better at debating, which of them changed more votes, or some other criteria?
