All one has to do is to watch CNN, it's not rocket science.

I watched their town hall with Trump and his family earlier this year. Cooper was asking things like "what do you admire most about your dad?" and other benign questions. Basically it was a Trump love fest, which a chunk of the media shared until shit got real and he won the nomination. Now every outlet that didnt do their due diligence from the time Trump announced to the primaries is playing catch up. This of course after spending all year attacking all candidates. But whatever, you believe what you want to believe. I think Trump is starting some fact checking thing that you might be interested in.

Hmm, reminds me of someone.......

Are we on the same planet?

What Twitter accounts do you follow?

Kaine poured facts on Pence's head and all he could do was ramble

I don't really follow many politic people, most of the ones I do (just random people) said pence won.

I then twittered pence name and like the 1st 20 people all had pence winning. Maybe timing? imo Pence had bad defending, but looked more presidential.

I realize there are a lot of political newbies every for years, and that's exciting, but there is ZERO chance of a Pence presidency in the future. The whole reason he accepted the VP gig is he is incredibly unpopular in his own state and has no political future.

After the bloodbath in November, anyone associated with Trump will be damaged good politically. Nobody with an actual future in there party (e.g. Kasich) wants any ties to the sinking USS Trump. Think of how easy it will be to destroy a Trump surrogate in the future.

I think we're just saying that Pence is pivoting to try and run in 2020, not that he actually has a chance of winning.

Calling out Trump and his campaign on what is obvious bullshit is not "bias".

There's little use in insisting that everyone must remain exactly in the middle just for the pretension that they're being "impartial". Because when one of the two candidates is so far off their respective deep end, simply taking the average and putting the pin in the exact middle makes you go way further toward said fringe candidate. It's not nearly as neutral as you might think.
I think media should remain as unbiased as possible actually.

In 4 years we went from crazy that was Palin to Trump, who's not to say we'll up the ante in another 4 years?
At this rate you could Google hate group leaders and pull some potential candidates. Everything about this election and the future elections it alludes to depresses me.

Probably the opposite of Fox.

CNN anchors were literally calling the debate for Pence the second that the debate ended. You have no idea what you're talking about. CNN bends over backwards to bring in voices from all sides of any debate even if they're batshit. They're biased toward ratings, period.

MSNBC is the opposite of fox.

This is an interesting debate. It's true that tonight it seems as though Pence held his own and could have even won, simply because he kept a level tone and responded quickly to accusations. He APPEARED to do a great job.

But those responses were often either flat out lies, or strong diversions from the topic. Tomorrow, post fact-checking, will not be kind to Pence's performance. It will most likely be a complete 180 in media opinion on who won.

Don't think so. Demographics ARE changing. In 4 years, the country will be even more brown than it is now and baby boomers are well dying...Republicans can't bank on white males forever. Not enough of them and you know anybody that backed Trump now is going to get hammered with that fact in 4-8 years.

Am I not? I assume fox is shilling for the Trump ticket and CNN is doing the exact opposite.

I thought you were watching CNN or is this just a thought experiment?

If we're just creating fanfiction for what is going on CNN I can tell you that my fanfiction involves analingus.

Trump campaign continuously pretending the 'basket of deplorables' line was anywhere near as bad as almost anything Trump has said is just baffling to me. Do they really think people buy that? Are people really buying that crap?

The Trump campaign mostly focuses its efforts on white people who totally buy into the narrative that everybody is out to get them and they're now the innocent victims of reverse prejudice and discrimination. It's been observed already that the kind of language they use is not even intended to sound logical or even sane to anybody but that demographic. To the target audience, the tone that Trump and company put forth is totally justified. His insults and mockery aren't indefensible and childish, they're representative of persecuted white people finally striking back against the grand conspiracy against them.

"Deplorables" admittedly is the perfect line handed to the campaign to throw around as evidence of reverse racism and defamation of whites. Generally, if anyone who claims they're still "undecided" takes offense at it and sees it as worse than Trump on a Tuesday, that just suggests they're not really undecided.

Pence did OK for himself, and fuck all for Trump. He was terrible at defending his boy in an authentic way.

So you got the VP for trump and he will be going against clinton. You dont think he get their support? Really?

Pence is going to need to distance himself from Trump after this election. Like, he already is distancing himself from Trump during the election. Those Trump voters definitely aren't going to Pence and his natural constituency is already largely taken by Ted Cruz, who is going to be around for a while on the national stage. Pence simply doesn't have an available constituency.

Right. And I'm saying the GOP won't touch anyone with Trump stink on them. Pence was basically the one dude who would return Trump's calls because his career was already dead.

Exactly. Anyone who actually thinks that CNN is the opposite of fox is delusional.

Is this your admittance that despite your criticism of CNN you actually aren't watching CNN or their coverage of this debate and everything you've said thus far is completely without substance?

Because that's kind of how I am reading it.

While I understand where MSNBC and Fox stand I still stand by my thought that CNN has been anti-Trump for a good minute as of late.

Facts are anti-Trump. And as I said:

CNN anchors were literally calling the debate for Pence the second that the debate ended. You have no idea what you're talking about. CNN bends over backwards to bring in voices from all sides of any debate even if they're batshit. They're biased toward ratings, period.

I think Kaine needed to interrupt and stay on attack. Otherwise he would have come off as weak. Pence looked like some kind of cartoon villain, and his chuckles came off bad. Also lies, lies, lies. Deny, deny, deny. There was no substance to anything he said. The only place I see him scoring any points are with religious folks for his views on abortion.

Theres no such thing as bias against Trump. You either have a brain and basic moral principles or you're a Trump supporter.

Come on. Trump being a POS or not, CNN is gonna be biased against anyone on the GOP ticket. Same for Fox News and democrats. I lived through enough elections to know this. Left wing media is that and right wing media is just that.

I think the reason Kaine didn't concentrate on attacking Pence for his LGBT views, etc, was because he wanted to primarily focus on Trump, not Pence, the VP.

Trump is the candidate, not Pence, so he kept the attack on Trump.

Normally I'd agree with you, but who the fuck knows anymore. The rest of the Republican field is a clown car. Anyone could rise out of this dumpster fire in 4 years.

Pence did OK for himself, and fuck all for Trump. He was terrible at defending his boy in an authentic way.

That's a good point. He really made himself look good, but will people carry that good will over to Trump? Will they be able to after the next time Trump publically opens his mouth and reminds them he is not at all like Pence tempermentally?

I mean really, Im so fucking confused by the reaction and i just watched the shit fresh off of work when it started.

I didn't even know a fucking debate was happening, it was all NewsGaf!

Yeah Pence had more composure but when its about the truth and where people really lie with their behavior, the dude is a fucking sham. The Trump campaign is a complete sham and nobody knows what to do with it. Lies after fucking lies straight to your doorstep. Egregious behavior and allegations! Id be doing 50 years for shit like this!!

This is the fucking Presidency, how the fuck could you be this sleazy and your not even the damn President yet?

Its a fucking joke, and if America can take the Presidency like the a fucking joke then why the hell should I respect it?

It boggles my mind to pay attention because I get so infuriated by the stupidity and the blatant lying being pushed. I see how it affects people, to microbehaviors, to concious actions being made.. This is a complete joke.
