The grittiness of the ape movies would be perfect for a Batman film.

Hey have they found a director or writer that actually wants to do man of steel 2?
Anyone?
Step right up?
Huh.
Who'd have seen this shit comin
who I ask you
As far as i know snyder is doing it.
Again, he still wrote it, will star in it, and will produce it. It's not the end of the world, jesus christ. The hyperbole in this thread already, yeesh.
Why would he kill himself trying to direct and act in this if he doesn't feel he can do it? Now he can focus on just the one thing and hire a director he trusts to deal with all the other shit.
The only glimmer of hope I am getting from this is Affleck cowrote the script with Geoff Johns.
Since he co-wrote it still might turn out good.
Though the batman costume in the foyer is from Afflecks caped crusader in Zack Snyders messy Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, word is that he will get to direct his own superhero movie, tentatively titled The Batman. Thats the idea. But its not a set thing and theres no script. If it doesnt come together in a way I think is really great Im not going to do it.
Time for a reboot so this can be officially erased.

Does Nolan have anything lined up after Dunkirk?
Nolan ain't coming back. Especially for any turd linked to the DCEU in its current stateDoes Nolan have anything lined up after Dunkirk?
Watch them merge Damian Wayne, Dick Grayson and Red Hood all into one character.
Affleck claimed a month ago that the Batman movie doesn't actually have a script yet, so either he didn't write one or he did and it was rejected.

Without hyperbole too, damn. It's kind of sad that that shot is better than most of his scenes in SS.
What's this guy up to
That was when he was doing the press junkets for Live By Night and was sick of being asked about it. It was like the next day on Kimmel he flat out said the script was great and everything was on track.Affleck claimed a month ago that the Batman movie doesn't actually have a script yet, so either he didn't write one or he did and it was rejected.

The mods will just rename this one to that.Waiting for the obligatory "Batman production is a disjoined mess" thread.
Maybe the Wachowski's are interested...
How many directors have dropped out of DC projects now? Not a good look

Sure, lets give it to the guy incapable of shooting action scenes.
All on Wonder Woman at this point. With Flash being rewritten from one and The Batman now suffering, there's nothing anchoring this universe. If Wonder Woman tanks, Justice League will be quickly retooled to be the franchise finale, released quietly, and The Batman, Flash, and Green Lantern Corps will lead a new universe altogether.

Why not? Lets go all in.
No no no..no..
DC is going to have a probelm attracting big talent. Who wants to hitch their wagon to a trainwreck?
Nolan Batman 4.
Nolan gets $50M up front and 50% of gross
Does WB say no to that deal?
His time is now

To be fair, this is BATMAN, not Flash or Cyborg. I imagine it's way harder to turn that down.Hence why I have my doubts Reeves will want anything to do with it.
