We're still waiting on the demos ... we haven't heard a thing about the rayman legends one since launch and it was supposed to be available day 1.

Quebec, Canada. Still, When I bought PSN/XBLA cards back then I wasn't charged any tax, I see this more like an error from the retailer, maybe because it just came out? Getting double taxed feels fucking wrong.
Called them, the girl said the fault is on Nintendo, lol. I'll wait till her boss comes back because she just doesn't seems to know what she's talking about.

Not going to argue with that. Just got my email with my free download code for professor Layton on 3DS from them!
Between all the free games, OSTs, SNES classic controllers and stuff like that, I simply love club Nintendo..
Couldn't help but laugh at that Nintendo land rage post though.
I did the same thing and went straight to F-Zero. Can't say I liked the experience...
But there re 12 games on the disc, and although I can't promise you'll find something that really clicks for you, I certainly found a couple I love already.
Most notably Balloon Trip since I loved balloon kid on the Game Boy back in the day.
Really digging the ninja game as well as I love classic light gun stuff.
Donkey king is brilliant as well. Very basic, but rock hard and addictive as hell as a Tim attack game.
The pikmin game is tons of fun as well.
Haven't been able to play the multiplayer onlyminigames just yet, but I've heard great things about them so ill rectify this soon.
Overall I'm pleasantly surprised with Nintendo land as I didn't expect it to be any good at all.
Quite disappointed by everything so far, the kids liked Nintendoland but they're getting bored with it very quickly, it's so hard to justify the cost (£49.99) when they'll burn through it faster than a £3.99 iOS title (and to be honest, I'm pretty sure they'd pick Plants vs Zombies over all of Nintendoland)
My biggest gripe is they seem to be charging permium prices for budget hardware and software, the third party stuff is way cheaper on other formats and the first party titles do absolutely nothing to warrant the price hike. I don't care how great a mario platform title is - I don't buy any game for £49.99! (Super Streetfighter 2 on the SNES gets let off because I was young!).
The hardware is interesting, they've done a very good job on the streaming technology - but most of the other aspects feel like they've been developed in complete isolation from everything else on the market, I remember hearing a while back that the big-wigs at Nintendo don't play other consoles and I'm starting to believe it.
In terms of it's long term prospects, I expect they'll get a short sharp reality check pretty quickly and will drop the prices and get those big 1st party titles out and be just fine, but still - a big disappointment for now.

This is gonna be difficult for you to accept, but you need *FRIENDS* to play with IRL for Nintendo Land to make sense. That's how it's fun.

Finally managed to get myself the update, but it's lagging like hell. Couldn't get into eshop yet because I'd get immediate errors and the two times I got into Miiverse I had to repeat my clicks about 5 times before I wouldn't get errors but go where I wanted.
What's strage is that the browser works mostly good. I have a weak WiFi signal where I play, but Wii and 3DS work good enough, so I hope it's just the servers being too loaded today, because this shit is just annoying. Otherwise, I gotta forget about this consoles online for now and get the LAN adaptor or something for online games later...

I think you'll get a network error, and you'll be offered the option to give up with the update.I've never paid more than £34.99 for a game this generation, even the big titles on launch day. Nintendo also have the dark art of never reducing their prices, I've been waiting for a bunch of 3DS games to go sub-£30 for ages with no avail.

Select your Mii on the home screen, and go to the user options of the account you want to use for auto-login.
Yeah, just go into your user settings (from the login screen) and you'll be prompted again. Same thing happened to me.

the controller works nowhere but in the same room for me. but baterry was already very low when I tried, could this be part of the problem?
