Nah, in NXT, it was Gable who saved Jordan from being cut. Jordan had a bunch of failed teams that didn't get over before he got with Gable.

AA's character is basically what Kurt's was when he showed up as a babyface. They are pretty basic good guys who are super athletic and have had success in other sports and act like goofs sometimes. Sometimes it doesn't have to be more complex than that.
