Anyone else feel bad killing those purple cat looking things with the big ears? They have a high pitched scream when youre attacking them and it makes me sad
I am not even intentionally trying to go for the lobster stuff. I just pick them up if I happen to see them and I have around 27 so far. Seems to be the best way to do it since I would hate to track down all 99 at once.

From what I'm hearing of this insurance thing, I'm kind of terrified to use it and end up breaking at it. Its like when you buy a new pair of Jordans that are too nice and you never wear them.
Unless you're piloting an Amdusias, which has a turning radius of a couple hundred meters or something. Lailah is really slippery, but I'd say the bunny-eared skell handles best out of the three skells I've piloted myself (and has a ridiculously small turn radius), not counting the level 20 one the game gives you when you get your skell license.
everyone to be robots, I thought it was just my character at first, but everyone? Holy crap!
. This game just got a lot more interesting! I am already at about 20 hours and still feel like I have done barely anything. I'm at 30% survey rate for Primordia and sub 15% everywhere else.
I'm 50+ hrs in.
I Just finished Chapter 4.
I really want to review this game, but I don't think there is an end in sight. I'll still probably review it....very, very late.
Awesome game though.
My second best game of the year was Rise of the Tomb Raider, but.....this game just dethroned it.
Edit:
Dethroned it with extreme prejudice

Map location here. It really is another one of those "I've been playing for how long and still missed..." moments. So what does it have?
Some Skell sized level 60 enemies, a biology 4 chest
. The enemies sometimes drop level 60 armour which is nice. Is it me or are the armour drops based on enemy types. I felt Hartmut, the Calamity giving Orphean Technologies is too much of a coincidence.
Yeah, I try to avoid them as much as possible. Of the ones I killed, I think one of them was a Tyrant and another mission needed something they dropped. Outside of those I just let the cute dudes roll around as much as they want.
Yeah, true. Elma mentioned that humans are pretty much encroaching on their territory and disrupting their regular lives. Killing them is a shitty thing to do but it needs to be done to defend themselves.
I remember there was a mission super early on that had you kill some
Suids but all you found were just babies and you had to kill them anyway. That felt like crap and the dude that gave you the mission also felt like shit about it.

Can someone please tell me where I can find Solan for turning in the "Off The Record" quest for Mechanical Level 5? I know it's in the Residential District in Ishmael Hills and the guide says he's in an "alley" in the evening, but I've tried three times now and covered the entire place without finding him. Wish this game wasn't so obtuse sometimes!
Some screens after I got my first skell like 15-20 hours ago. Did the "Close Encounters" mission which I really enjoyed. Just when I thought I saw all of Primordia, I discovered some new areas and witnessed some lovely views. I'm up so high!
When's the flight module unlockable? After chapter 9?
Chapter 7 was surprisingly easy. Boss was only a little easier than chapter 6's, but there was no exploration for me in this one (since to get Oblivia up to that survey level, i had to run all around the target area anyway).
And now i have grind because suddenly level requirements are a thing. It's strange. I was 2 levels behind for chapter 6, and ground in that chapter to 1 level behind. I was 1 level behind for 7, and ground to even with the boss. Not like i'm behind the curve any longer.
You must be using some hard to drive skell frame. And Vehicle mode is the 2nd best escape mode next to flying the heck out of the scene. The only thing I don't like about vehicle mode is you can't reverse lol.
And your mercy killed your client. RIP in pieces as a bacon to pigs.
I didnt know there was gonna be part 2 with mechs! And then he made the sky rain fire! Holy shit. Fuck that was amazing atmosphere.
So can you get the cats in your party or wha? I had to laugh at how quickly Ga Jiarg changed sides lol. Elmas like "wheres your pride!?" and hes like "I have pride. Ok we out."
Hope we see more of the Wrothians. By far the best designed characters in the game.
Lin's Shield art thing suggested few pages earlier really did the trick.
You have to beat the game to be able to get the blueprints for the LVL 60 skells, except for Alexa's final affinity mission, which can be done before that, and gives the blueprints for a lvl 60 Heavy skell.
