Just saw that. Marvel is probably safe to start looking for their own cast now, because this shit's not even going to make it to principal production if this is true.

Sony's rights encompass everything relating to the Spider-Man franchise, so I doubt it.

Not that it matter. Even if they could use Miles, they can't use the name Spider-Man, the costume, or really anything else that would make it a Spider-Man movie.

All we know at this point is the main cast, director, and writer. What sickness must you have to look the production at this point and be hoping that it fails to even get started?
