Isn't this current drake in his mid 30's? Why does he look older than Joel, who is in his 50's? Maybe its just me.
"You've been out of the game for a while". Probably means it's set quite a while after U3.

Come on, he doesn't look that old. I'd say early 40's... But he looks so much like James Denton on this picture...

Yeah, much more limited simulations to run too, it's going to be straight up witchcraft. Now the brutal wait to see how the real time gameplay is going to perform compared to their cutscenes. Exciting times ahead. If they can get even close to this trailer in 1080p60 I can not imagine what Quantic Dream is able to do with 1080p (2.40:1 ; black bars) and 30 fps. Probably straight up CG look even in real time.
Dat face...

Marry Vanillena over Chloe?By the way, do people expect Nate and Elena to have a kid in this one?
If so, boy or girl?
I'm sorry, but some people need to wake up. 30FPS has shitloads of inherent judder. I don't know how many times I have to tell people this. Are people blind around here? 30FPS is not near enough frames to sustain smooth motion, hence why devs are going unlocked. If you optimize your frames well so they don't suddenly jump all over the place you can get a decent approximation of 60FPS. It's only when you are going from 60 to 50 to 40 in the realm of 5 seconds that things are terrible. If they can maintain a decently high framerate it is going to look better than any crap at 30FPS.
I wish all these 30FPS locked people would go away quite honestly if it means devs aren't even going to try to go past 30 if they can. Not even sure who they are. I test and play 95% of my games at 60FPS, and 30FPS solid is dogcrap. It's not quite as juddery as 24FPS film but it's damn close. I honestly don't want any of my games running at 30FPS if possible. I'll take anything basically as long as they maintain frame stability wherever they are. If a little judder creeps in it just needs to be smoother and not harsh jank.
JUDDER DOES NOT MAGICALLY GO AWAY by locking a framerate at 30.

But Yu did say in game...They've clearly stated it's in engine, not in game. Naughty Dog's cutscenes last generation were all prerendered with added postprocessing effects. That's why this trailer and the one for TLoU are hardly indicative of the IQ of the final products. I know both games will look insanely good, but it's unrealistic to expect those models and IQ to be in the final game.
Marry Vanillena over Chloe?
I don't think so
Yes, she did.Now, did she?

Yes, she did.
Can we please fast forward to E3 2015. Like, right now?Yeah, much more limited simulations to run too, it's going to be straight up witchcraft.
Drake will have to carry him the whole journey. New gameplay feature right there! He's got to be a good ten years older from where UC3 left off there. What the hell is Sully gonna look like, lol. He'll be getting around the jungle with the assistance of a zimmer frame.
With those graphics?! how is that possible? what sorcery is this?!
In this case at least it's definitely their pre-rendered cutscenes at work. Druckmann said this about TLoU remastered:Yes, she did.
"Our cinematics are now running at 1080p and 60fps, and that involved rendering them all from scratch. It's interesting that now [instead of a technical bottleneck], the bottleneck is 'Can we fit all this on the disc?'"
Now, did she?

Oh I'm pretty sure it will... but not as good as the trailer. In this case at least it's definitely their pre-rendered cutscenes at work. Druckmann said this about TLoU remastered:
I'm sure Uncharted 4 will build on this and use pre-rendered cutscenes in 1080p and 60fps. Probably better lighting and IQ than the actual game. Maybe some other differences. Game will still look great though in real time I'm sure.
And in game.In engine.

"Targeting"
Looks like Last of Us Remastered and Uncharted 4 will both have 30 fps.
Someone pliz host that 1080p 60fps trailer for download..
So? She said it in another tweet. Should we believe some and not others? She didn't say that in the tweet though.

Oh I'm sure the gameplay will be 1080p60 as well. They certainly made that clear. Just wondering about the fidelity now.But let's keep in mind that they wouldn't be rendering cinematics at 60fps if the gameplay is not up to par with that frame rate.
Mhm, she did. Now I'm confused. Seems like she clarified though with the later in-engine comment. Still waiting for someone to say the words "real time". Why is that always so hard. I would shout it from the rooftops if it was real time like Tomb Raider and Quantic Dream do. Just put it at the end of the trailer damnit. So? She said it in another tweet. Should we believe some and not others?

No, she said 'a PS4', which is also important, the in-engine cutscenes you're referring to we're done on multiple PS3s, 8 in fact.If you read the Twitter conversations, she first said:
When people asked her for clarification whether the trailer was in game/realtime, she replied this way:
I don't think there's any ambiguity here. Her wording on that first tweet was just off.
Now, did she?

If it's one PS4, as she claimed, that is what the and looks like.
You just completely ignored my post and replied to some imaginary one.The whole "captured on" thing is a statement ND has used in the past when talking about TLoU's cinematic. For all intents and purposes, it just means pre-rendered. If it was realtime, they would have explicitly said that.
She said what she said lol... you trying to put your opinion over what she said and saying I'm missing the point is weirdYou're missing the point. They're asking if it is CG, which is not. That's why she answered that way.

The video footage was captured from a PS4. She is not saying how the cutscene was rendered. They just played the game on a PS4 and captured the pre-rendered cutscene using recording software. They did the same for The Last of Us. It's exactly like if someone would play TLoU and record all the pre-rendered cutscenes from his PS3 using a capture card and put them on YouTube. It was captured on a PS3, not rendered on a PS3. They are very careful with the wording here. No, she said 'a PS4', which is also important, the in-engine cutscenes you're referring to we're done on multiple PS3s, 8 in fact.

To be honest, I love it when games aim for 1080p/60fps, but this is probably one of the FEW exceptions where I'd prefer 30fps with more impressive visual effects over 60 with less or toned down effects. Uncharted isn't about smooth, crystal clear gameplay. It's about huge setpieces exploding around you and epic cinematic action scenes which make your jaw drop in awe. If it can use the power needed to achieve 60fps to make an explosion look more awesome instead I easily prefer the latter (when it comes to Uncharted).
But hey, if THIS is what they can achieve already while targetting 60fps who am I to oppose the Naughty Gods. They clearly know what they are doing, so yeah; into my veins.
Where have you been? Who thought Uncharted 2 was possible on PS3 at the time it came out?
Massive crow is going to be served at launch.
