Seems reasonable. I'm glad my PC still above the recommended.
Anyway, will Phantom Pain share the same requirements?

I wonder if those are The Phantom Pain specs too?
probably not, anyway looking good.
Of course it is. Remember Ground Zeroes was suppose to be part of TPP. They cut it out and sold it separately. Same engine, same game so same specs.

Translation?
There's a pretty decent difference in lighting complexity and reflections. I'm impressed the PC game isn't a straight port of the PS4.
Holy crap, there's a massive (massive) LOD distance difference in that first shot.
(I made it easier to compare here)
I'd certainly say so. Half the mid- to long distance objects (including lights and geometry) seem missing in the PS4 version compared to PC.Is this to do with draw distance and pop-in?

It's impossible to say anythign about IQ with this source, obviously, but the LOD difference is staggering.

Its v-sync.- Window Mode
- Resolution
- Display
- Not sure what this refers to exactly.
- Framerate
- Model detail
- Textures
- Texture filtering
- Shadow
- Lighting
- Screen filtering
- Effects (these last two are post-processing, I guess).

It's too bad we don't have better screens to examine the shading quality of the AO. Maybe it's HBAO+Thats a big difference. What I noticed:
* Big Level of detail and draw distance difference
* Higher number of shaded lights
* Different ambient occlusion
* Screen space reflections
I wonder what "Display" refers to?

I wonder what "Display" refers to?
It refers to output. For multi-display setups. In the screen there it's set to "Display 1".
It should be about having more than one screen and choosing which of them to play on, maybe even all of them at once..
From the Steam news thread [Kudos to Grif e Nzyme]:
Confirmed to include (so far):
- Deja-Vu & Jamais-Vu missions
- 4K compatibility
- Increased number of simultaneous light sources
- Increased number of models displayed on-screen
- Increased shadow resolution
- Locked 60fps (only confirmed for GZ so far)
- Fully customisable Keyboard & Mouse controls
- Full Controller support including Xbox controllers, DS3 & DS4 (no UI specific to DS controllers) - 4 predefined configurations only
- No mouse accelleration
- Possibly includes Nvidia tech and optimisation

P.S. Sorry if oooooooooooold, these are new to me![]()
Yeah, the difference in the draw distance of pretty much everything (geometry, lights, foliage) is massive.Even the foliage draw distance is obviously improved over the PS4 version. Grassgate 2.0 incoming?
