After watching videos of people playing Blast ball and fed force and hearing impressions both games seem fun to play.

Revealed in a better, more meaty E3 presentation and with a non-chibi style, I think this game fares better with the public.

As it is, there's no way there wasn't going to be backlash.

I believe only Blast Ball was playable.

Probably because it is a 2016 game. The main sources of information are the Treehouse Live demos.

Yeah, they may both be Nintendo Fanboys, but they played it more than anyone else, so probably have a better opinion of it.
