Uhhh he'll be able to play whatever's there, I guess, but if he goes more than the first couple hours (unlikely anyway) things might get weird because there are still patches of game missing or messed up

Yea, it's hard.
Sips sometimes plays indie games, but it's usually after they're released.
Then there's the guys like Markiplier/Vanoss but they just have their own thing.
Jacksepticeye plays indies occassionally.

I would expect a few hundred K views but the person is not (going by the sub numbers) as big as Jacksepticeye. That said, this person has a particularly devoted/niche fanbase who really watch his videos and pay attention to them.
if they aren't on polaris or from something awful, I most likely don't. I hear about people who have apparently been popular for years constantly and wonder why I never knew they existed

See, I'm starting to get in to recording videos on a schedule, and recording in bulk, but I'm always umming and ahhing about commentary. Like, do people really enjoy commentary on Let's Play videos? I ask because my voice is annoying as hell, and my accent is hideous, plus I'm worried I'd run out of stuff to say,

without the commentary it would be just a walk through. You could do a text or annotation lets play instead

Monster hunter generations just got a western announcement.
But it for 3ds only again. They released 3 ultimate for 3ds AND wii u, im physically incapable of playing monster hunter on 3ds and im one of the most loyal fucking fans of the franchise.

I'm with you. I enjoyed it on Wii U, I tried to play the 3DS game last year or whatever -- I played a while -- But I just didn't like it as a portable. It felt like such a waste, because it's a great game .. I just don't enjoy long/deep gaming on portable

It's a fantastic series, I've played every console version since I was 14. I'm now 25 years old.
It's kinda shit they've made no effort to upgrade the series. I've longed for frontier to be released west, especially when it came out on 360. We got nothing. I bought a wii u JUST to play mh3u. Then my heart sank through my ass when I realised mh4u was not getting a console release.
But I said fuck it, i bought a nn3ds to play mh4u. And quickly realised that after about 30 mins of gameplay i get cramps in my hand and cant continue.
Mhgenerations is just another fucking game thats going to pass me by, as I watch everyone else have fun with it.
Maybe it's for the best for me, I spend over 10k hours on the series as a whole over these last 11 years.
Horizon Zero Dawn for PS4 seems to have some Monster Hunter feel, but with insane AAA graphics and open world. That's one of my most anticipated games, behind only Dark Souls 3.

It looks like a good game. But I won't be dropping money for a ps4 for it.
The problem that sets MH apart is the diverse designs of the armour and weapons, collecting them all. It's MH I want. It's like crack.
This is such a niche game. It's for someone who wants something purpose built for titillation, but doesn't go all the way. It wants to be porn without being porn, which is a very Japanese thing.
I'm really fucking disgusted by their whole "SNES games only on the new 3DS" thing. And of course you have to rebuy them again.
