Yes I am in the same boat here. I am only even entertaining this idea because it seems the information has already spread out a lot.

I was keeping quiet on this info until BakedYams/Ryce blew the lid on it. Now it has become this behemoth that is difficult to ignore.

Don't get me wrong, I'd be sad to see Doom and Skrull go (tho the latter probably would go anyway...), too, and I'd love them to add some cool Fantastic 4 characters like Sue Storm or Annihilus, but if MvC4 does happen, I think the best approach in regards to character expectations is to be realistic.

And the reality is that MvC4's license likely will have been established before Marvel's decision to pull off the lid on Fox characters, so they're much more likely to have been affected by the restrictions as any of the other developers, even though given the series' history, it would hit them a lot more than any of the other games.

Also, mind hooking me up with the Avengers Academy rumours (via PM perhaps to not clutter up the thread; I have a friend who plays that game who'd be delighted to hear about this)?

Also also, yes, I don't really care much about mutants.
 
You know what I find interesting?

The fact that most of the top Marvel players and community members are pretty silent on twitter about this. Champ, Persia, Yipes, etc... they're just RTing stuff and not commenting at all. It's like maybe a lot of them know already and can't really say anything yet... ;)

Stop man, don't do it. We'll know whether this is true in 6 days. There is no reason to put yourself in harms way, especially when you've already been juniored. DMCGaf won't be the same without you man.

Capcom will show off Mega Man as the first character in the reveal and announce a month before the release that Mega Man was removed to make space for the 8-frame delay feature.

To play Devil's Advocate... if I was a major FGC community figure trying to keep an elevated status, I would also clam up if I DIDN'T know anything. I'd be quiet because saying I've heard nothing would make me look irrelevant if MvC4 got announced, but teasing that I knew anything would make me look like a dumbass if it didn't. So instead I say nothing, and can't be accused of knowing or not knowing.

Just a thought.

Kaecilius is a super old and obscure character from the Dr. Strange books. They dug really deep to find that guy. He was one of Mordo's goons. He barely made it out of the 60s, only appearing like once or twice since then.

He's so obscure I was genuinely surprised when they revealed Kaecilius' name in the casting for the film. I thought Mikkelsen was gonna be someone like Silver Dagger or Modred the Mystic lol.

Maybe.

If the game simply did not exist, I think it would be pretty easy for some of them to figure it out. It's kind of why I find the deafening silence somewhat telling.
 
All I want out of Capcom's side for this would be a return of PTX from TvC. I feel like PTX got straight up robbed by Nemesis for the Capcom big guy slot in MvC3. And while Lost Planet 3 wasn't great, it wasn't terrible either, and the first 2 games were pretty good and I just like Lost Planet and big ass robots ok?
