So, I just shattered like 5 weapons trying to get this korok seed. feels bad
Get a boulder up hill into a hole... its golfing uphill using stasis and it fucking SUCKS when you fail and it roles down hill. Could probably try getting it from the cliff into the hole, but that would probably be worse.
anyone try this one and have any tips? Its on Dueling Peak
Are you using a sledgehammer?

Rist Peninsula - there is an
orange runed stump
on the spiral peninsula out east - looks like an
orange runed ball fits in - no ball in sight

Any hints?

Go check out the ruins at the start of the peninsula. I actually haven't solved it myself, but I'm pretty sure that's the way to go.

The first time I was out there, I was riding a horse that I liberated from some bokoblins. He wasn't registered yet, so I couldn't dismount and do complicated stuff until I found a stable. I ended up having to ride quite a ways to find one. :p

I'm baffled as to why they don't just let you board *any* mount.

Yup. My biggest actual complaint with the game. Why can't I keep my bear? Why? Fuck off Nintendo with your "omg, bear is scary, bear eat horse!", Yogi is kind and gentle and my friend.

Same with (glowing Satori Mountain spoiler)
Lord of the Mountain. So what if is has two faces and you think he will curse you all? He's my ethereal god horse buddy who is super fast and never tires and loves apples. Don't judge.
.

Like, I get some of the mounts can be a bit OP or silly, but still. Let me keep them and board them and if you are worried about game balance put timers on them, like a certain one can only be out at night, a certain other one during the day. Stuff like that.

Wow, didn't even cross my mind that that was a possibility. I was trying to get on top of all the mountains in the area lol.

I'll keep that in mind for way later!

Haha I did the same yesterday.
I figured it was in Impa's house but I have no idea how to get it.

Kaas is such a cool dude. After a certain point in the game you always become quite happy when you unexpectedly hear his music far in the distance knowing he is near you.

And some of his riddles are quite hard to figure out man. Only got the
arrow through two holes one.

Just got inside my second Devine beast in Gerudo. Oh boy, gonna be a doozy.

Haven't had moments where I felt like I did heading into Zora Domain but still very much obsessed with my playthrough.

Broke my hammer and some grunt weapons, but I got it. Man that was not a fun seed to get.
Now I need a blood moon cause i need some hammers.

Elemental weapons (outside of rods from wizzrobes) seem to be chest items for the most part. If you find one from a respawning enemy camp chest I'd mark it on your map.

Regarding 2 I don't think anyone has all that mapped out yet. Most of those are in multiple regions besides
Molduga
in the desert.

I've seen some
Lizalfos
that carry Thunder Spears, so not all elemental weapons are unique. Any ice/fire weapons carried by enemies? Hoping to mark down places to find stronger weapons.

Do some enemy camps have elemental weapons as prizes in the chest? And do enemy camp chests respawn?

Lynels can be found inside hyrule castle and the coliseum, guardians swarm hyrule castle and the area around it, Hinox can be found in Eventide Island, the Giant Forest, and the watery area west of the skull island in Akkala. Don't forget Stalnox, which is can be found at the south end of the river near the stable to the right of the twin peaks among other places

Sweet, thanks!

I found the Hyrule dump, in a strange place but anyway. The lady there is batshit insane too.

That's enough Zelda for tonight...

At the Yiga hideout
were are you supposed to go? There is a dead end on a chest with bananas you cant leave there and no other door

Saw a co-worker play through that room today.
In that same room against one of the walls use the magnet spell or whatever it is and you'll notice you can push through a wall with it to continue on.

Oops :p
I got myself killed searching for another door but i know the way around the guards now.

I thought it was something to do with those
targets

Major test of strength is no joke. Geez.

yeah I did minor and medium pretty easy. major is a beast. You need better weapons or a really good parry.

I've probably played 30 hours and still have no real idea what I'm doing or where I should be going. I've only filled in like 1/3 of the map too. Great game

I figured it was in Impa's house but I have no idea how to get it.

If you want a hint,
do every side quest in Kakariko Village and then eventually something will happen with the heirloom. This includes a side quest that (for me) was only seemingly mentioned in the town journal in Impa's house

He already won me over by being birdman with an accordion but there's something special about wandering through the vast world and that moment when you pick up the sounds of his instrument in the distance.

He's like a much better version of Wind Waker's Old man ho ho.

Honestly i struggled with modest. I was not prepared for major at all lol

Yunobo is cool and all but it wouldve been better and funnier if his voice was deep like the rest of the gorons. Hate his huffing and puffing.

Tho gorons are the best race in gaming so i cant be too mad

Thank you for posting that.

Now I'm sad that I put off buying the OoT Link Amiibo. I really hope they reprint it :(

It seems as though smash bros and ocarina of time are impossible to find.

It's fucking bullshit too because the Zelda 30th Anniversary wave came out less than 3 months ago (actually by the time BotW launched it was exactly 3 months) yet somehow Nintendo still hasn't gotten their shit straight with amiibo stock. I have been actively looking since Dec 3rd and I don't think I saw the Wind Waker set in stores even once, and now OoT Link is gone too.

Absolutely ridiculous. When the next wave comes out (MM, TP, and SS Links) they had better do a reprint of the first batch too. I can understand Smash Link being difficult to find given that he's ~2 years old at this point but when you launch a flagship title on your new hardware that uses amiibo you just released 3 months prior but there nowhere to be found you have fucked up.

I mean, heaven forbid the people that didn't buy them right away discover they do something cool and then actually, I dunno, go buy them. It's not like people knew they would do this until the game was literally out already and stock was gone. WTF.

Sorry to go on a rant it just really pisses me off, I cannot believe they still don't have this figured out. Animal Crossing amiibo are overproduced shelf warmers yet fucking Zelda of all things are gone in less than three months.

I randomly went into major... it ended up being pretty easy... You just keep your distance and move in after it swings... I also had an ice sword to help me with the last thousand of health... but yeah generally that thing was easy. Just takes a few minutes to take em down. Only had 7 hearts too.

Oh and when it goes into laser shooting mode you just keep strafing and all of the lasers will miss. Then get out an arrow and shoot dead center in the eye for 50 damage. So yeah bring arrows to this thing.

Ahhh lol
that's the only one I haven't rewatched because I thought it was a bit boring the first time. Silly me.
Paraphrased, the knighting ceremony says something like "whether Skyward Bound, Through Time, or Past the Twilight" or something like that. I think only the TP timeline is referenced.

I REALLY want this to be the Downfall timeline and am pretty disappointed the theories about us playing as The Hero of Time in that timeline didn't end up being true. But at the same time, if this is the TP timeline, that could make this game an exact parallel to the original Zelda, only in another timeline - which works on a lot of levels.

Although, there's nothing saying it can't be the Downfall timeline... the references in the ceremony don't really mean anything more than the references in the map locations. Wind Waker wouldn't make sense for obvious reasons.

What's kind of cool is that there's another incarnation of Link that beat Ganon we haven't seen. The one from ten thousand years ago.

I've played so much of this game yet have managed to do Jack shit, I love it. Ended up on Eventide Island and refused to turn the game off till I beat it. No radar play through all the way.

Couple questions. Do I have to do something with the korok seeds because I haven't found a use for them yet? Also, is there a way to pull things in with the magnet without just moving back?

106 shrines!

I have a fairly good idea of where 107 might be, but I don't think I have any idea where I'll find 108.

Great effort! I have no idea how you are finding them all.

I'm up to 96 without the Sensor or any external information sources. I think I'll activate the Sensor at 100, if I can find 4 more...

Just saw some cool cheese strats on Trihex's stream: You can jump, activate a shield surf, and then pause and unequip your shield as Link does the flip animation to pull off a sort of high jump in areas where you can't climb, like shrines and dungeons.

Did you ever do the quest from a giant Korok and his maracas before Kakariko?
Pull with the D-pad, the controls are on the bottom...
