Dragon Age Veilguard has an unhinged gender diary

Reading those I can tell that they're trying to be quirky and cheeky.

They keyword is 'trying' because they just didn't quite nail the comedy in those entries. Again in-universe terminology could help some. I could see a version of this that could potentially work but it needs to have a lot more fun writing in doing so.

Yeah they are just feigning ignorance and are mental illness supporters usually cause they know damn well it is but is just deflecting/denying cause they themselves support that insanity. I never buy it when they say something like that and could easily spot them.

And same here, no problems with people that simply like the game and I think everyone or at least almost everyone here don't have a problem with someone liking the game but rather the game itself.

That was funny cause it's like one of those scenes where everyone is focus on something completely different and a random person comes up out of nowhere and screams about something completely different that nobody is even thinking about.

While I wasn't here at the time but I was on Gamefaqs and even on the PS5 Board where there's obviously PS5 Bias. There were still a lot of folks complaining about games like the TLOU2 and Spiderman 2. So it was obviously dunked on everywhere.

This is why i don't care about company names and brands. You say "you used to be cool" but you are talking to a brand. I assure you, the people responsible for this game were never cool, they were always lame. The cool people probably left the building long ago.
 
I don't care if it's woke or not. I don't care if the combat has been reduced to single party member control and is an action game. I don't care about the fact my choices don't matter despite a history of the previous games carrying over my choices. I don't care about the fortnite whismy art direction over the dark fantasy identity of the earlier ones.

I care about the hair and the lots of purple lights.
 
The most unabashedly woke AAA game in videogame history by an incredibly wide margin is EA's most successful single player game in videogame history. Let that sink in. Enjoy, more to come.

Out of Top-10 at Amazon and i's still showing 2K bought in the past month after release. All other major releases typically shown at least 7K bought at the week of release

check psn trophy and there are only 2900+ player synch this game trophy, it just like steamdb cannot use to predict extract sale number but still doesn't look good either, BMW with more than 20 million sale has 30k+ player synch their trophy
 
I figured I'd eventually try the game on the EA pass or whatever sometime but after seeing this, big NOPE for me.
 
I just have no words. Like what the actual f .. is going on with these companies. Fine pull that shit on DuskBore.. but this shit doesn't even make any sense , how does this in any way move the plot of this game forward.

I saw someone on here describe them perfectly as the Drama club the other day.

I immediately had flashbacks to sitting at the cafeteria in Uni. You'd hear retarded shrieking and look over. There'd be a group of drama club people doing cartwheels and shouting and juggling, desperate for attention, any attention, whilst every normal person in the place was trying not to die of secondhand cringe.

Those people have somehow taken over creative in the gaming industry.

100% it's just such a damn shame ..even if the writing was on the level of DA:Inquisition, game could've been great. I'll even go as far as to say I would've bought the game if there was lots of woke references, as long as the writing was great ...and I can't stand wokeness ...but a great new Dragon Age game only comes around so often ...Bioware might as well be dead. No way will the next Mass Effect not have similar shifty writing and dialogue ...nope it ain't happening despite the damage control statements the director made a couple days ago.

Yep it basically has two of the worse things, the disgusting insane woke crap and a lot of it too plus extremely bad and shitty writing both combined making it one if not the worse expensive gaming crap ever. If they were missing either one of those than the sales would have been a lot better. Had they not have either of them then we could have been seeing another giant current day big budget western rpg hit like Skyrim and Witcher 3 and even more so in numbers due to today's gamer population.

Yeah one of my friends who does not go on forums and just buy games based on the hype got fooled into this. He wanted to refund it now but it's too late since it's pass the 2 hour mark on steam, he would have never gotten it if he knew the game had these woke crap and such bad writing in it.

Yea it pains me to say but one has to be extra cautious about what they are buying these days and can't assume anymore any franchise or property is safe from being corrupted by this modern audience disease.
