My update failed after a while. I accidentally clicked away the text before I could read the reason. I can't try again because I'm leaving for work in an hour. Worried as fuck now. :/

If it was just downloading you'll be fine. My update failed as well and I just cancelled out the dialogue and it reinitiated the download from the same spot. No problems. I only crashed once during browser usage so far due to a gmail compatibility issue.

No, after you're online for a little while, it'll automatically switch over.

Does anyone know if you can do the Wii->WiiU system transfer with multiple region? I've bought Axelay from the Australian store and everything else is from the UK store. Can I just switch the region to Australia and do the transfer a second time?

Man, my home menu only shows the basic stuff, though I do see my mii and my wife's mii wandering around. Not sure how to get the games I own to show up, but I guess it's all good since I've found some great art.

Hi guys, i have a problem with the home screen. In the left i have the screen cut, but only in the left!!! in the option menu where you can change tv options there isn't an option that permits of regulate home screen dimensios. Instead for example in miiverse or shop menù there is the possibility of regulate the screen dimension. I don t know what i have to do. Please help me.

I noticed something interesting yesterday. I purchased two brand new black Wii U branded Motion Plus Wii Remotes and one of them is missing access to the sync button on the battery cover and on the rubber grip. The boxes and everything else is identical except one of the boxes has a "USZ" marking in small text on the top flap of the box. I'm not sure if this is significant nor am I sure which one came out of which box.

Can someone who purchased one of these that has access to the sync button on the battery cover and a hole to access the button on the rubber grip, tell me if you have the "USZ" marking? Additionally, is there any way to tell which boxes have the possibly 'updated' Wii U Remotes?

I think it took the US 24 hours to get rid of the blue shirt NINTENDO PR Miis and Apps and show games. Don't remember what time on Monday or Tuesday it was but it is in this thread.

also your Miiverse settings should be checked, post on a few communities as well

Nevermind. Found my answer:

So it turns out that SOME of the boxes have the old model and SOME have the new ones. The boxes with the NEW model have the letters "USZ" written in small letters on the TOP flap in the upper right-hand corner (you can actually see this if you zoom in on the product image), and the surface of the boxes are glossy, while the boxes with the OLD model have a matte surface and no letters on the top. I found this information in a forum post, went back to the store and found that half of the boxes had USZ, and the other half didn't, so I re-bought the remotes with USZ labels and they DO have the external sync button.

Transferring over all my Miis from the original Wii got me all nostalgic. It still has the gaffers from launch day that bought the system. Oh how excited everyone was back in the day. What a pain in the ass it was to register friends on that thing and in the end it didn't really do anything.

I haven't tried it but from what I gather it's much better playing it in local multiplayer, whereas it's not fun as single-player.

Its the truth though. Had a lot of problems two hours ago but now Im almost done downloading and almost never getting error messages. Its getting better.

Edit: on second thought, you cant connect to the internet? So its not a problem with downloading the update but you cant connect at all? Maybe contact your internet provider then?

Crazily enough, I figured out that by pressing L/R to scramble the Warawara plaza Mii's, it must have refreshed some, because now I have gaf friends standing around chatting. Still no game icons though so they're not crowding around anything

Try holding down the big button (light/logo) on the side until wifi stops flashing - then I can't remember but hold it down till it flashes and it should restart or click it after. Muck about with that button

The super hud is a cunt; instead of just unplugging everything to reset it fucks around trying it itself.

Not helpful at all.

Ah crap dude! I had purchase a Wii one at Walmart because the black one I ordered from Amazon never came in until 2 days ago. Both have similar boxes so seeing your post I opened the black on it has no easy reach button you have to open the battery plate to reach it.

they must have just been re-boxing old Wiimote Pluses to go into Wii U branded boxes the black one has a very thick Wii brand instruction book while the white one has a smaller Wii U branded single page folded paper

the boxes on the outside are identical besides the color of the Wiimote

the codes on the bottom are different from the codes above with I got from the papers inside

so PN would be the indicator for the new version but we are being cheated with older vision WR in some PN boxes

Couldn't disagree more. The key is local multiplayer. You have 12 games, six of which are really fun high score games, 3 awesome cooperative adventures and 3 great party multiplayer games. Its an absolute blast with family

Have you even delved beyond the first level for each section? Pikmin Adventure, Metroid, Zelda, DK's Crash Course, Balloon Fight, and F-Zero are all pretty challenging, and many of them even unlock bonus levels once you've completed their main missions. This game is jam-packed with content, much more than Wii Sports.
