Latino male dating a Chinese female here. Nothing out of the ordinary, but I do find it a little annoying that I'm just sitting around sometimes while she talks with friends in Mandarin. That probably means that I should just learn the language, though.

anecdotal experience:

you can date korean girls, but most of the time you'll never really get with them because of family (prefer korean).

same thing with vietnamese. Chinese - varies, as long as you got some status/money to show to the parents, you're in.

white girls - depends really, i'm more into the business type yuppy chicks; although the socal or hipster girls are totally bangin.

Never really go with Filipinas, even if they're suppppppaaaa duppaaaa hot. Hawaiians are yum.

I don't have a race preference but I always find myself dating outside my race. I seem to attract women of all races too but then again, I'm tall and have other things going for myself.

I do remember 10 yrs ago I would hit up a lot of Los Angeles Asian clubs/parties but got tired of Asian females having little hips and ass. Then I got deep in the Salsa scene and hooked up with a lot of Latinas and Whites. Not that Latinas and Whites can't have flat asses, there was just a lot less of them.

Again, no race preference but they gotta be curvy.

Asian male reporting in but I think the think it's that bananas/Twinkies trying to mix with FOBs are harder because of how they were raised. I'm technically not born in Canada but since I was pretty much a newborn when my family moved here, I might as well be a CBC; I definitely cannot keep a conversation with or really am interested in FOB-y girls but I have no issue with other CBC girls.

It's partially a language barrier and also a cultural difference too. My parents and I are technically immigrants but they have few issues with both sides luckily. But my siblings who are now 1st gen along with me are without a doubt bananas.

ah, you out there - that's cool though. im near sweetwater so it's Nica town out here, but we get a bunch've venezuelans & the obligatory cubans, haha. there's asian chicks out at FIU but last i saw, they were largely in asian student groups & such...the mixes i'd see more often out that way was indian + west carribean which sometimes was amazing

Today I see a lot more Asian men dating and marry to white actually several of my wife friends at work are the same interracial set up (Asian man and white). On the plus side, our kids are so adorable when they were babies.

My wife said she has always been attracted to Asian guy and she is as white as they come. Farm girl, from total hick family so it was not a surprise her family at first was pretty much disown her when we start to get serious. This of course all change after we have our first kid.

Her dad once told me that he thought it was just a phase and my wife would grow out of it but now he is very happy that she is with me and that of all the kids (my wife came from family of eight), she is the one he is least worry about. I don't know if it was so much about the race but more of the fact that he was worry that we would not be compatible due to our different background.

To OP, yeah, Asian can be pretty racist and I think my family have a much harder time accepting her then her family was to me. My family is Chinese. I am not American born but I came to the US when I was a teen.

I don't know, it's weird. I feel like it's only a mental block but I always feel the need to 'be different'.

To be honest, if I didn't work at this one Asian fusion restaurant I probably wouldn't have that many Asian friends. At my university it seemed like they're in their own little sections (Filipino Student Association, Asian frats, whatever).

But it's funny cause I've had more 'hipster' Asian friends and we kinda rag on them a little bit.
