What a great, great movie. Best movie in the MCU. Ant-Man is officially my fave superhero now. He's fucking legit.
- Great cast. Rudd, Lilly, and Douglas nail their roles. Rudd is charming as fuck. Corey Stoll plays a great villain. Michael Pena and the two other heist crew members were awesome. Pena stole the show.
- Stoll's a pretty good villain. I wish we saw more with him. I love that he's a twisted, insane fuck with daddy issues. He has a madness that we didn't see any other MCU villains to date. It makes him stand out. Him murdering the investor in the beginning was twisted. His scene with Cassie where he asks if he looks like a monster was pretty chilling. Like, the dude is just fucking gone and constantly on the verge of snapping.
- The action was fantastic. I liked it better than anything else in the MCU cause it just felt so different. Loved how the shrinking scenes were shot, what the world looks like when it's small, the use of ants, the Quantum Microverse, all so fucking cool. Costume design was also on point.
- Fight with Falcon was hilarious and felt like it integrated really well. I love that it feels like part of a cohesive universe, but it is it's own thing. I want to spend more time with Lang and Co. They have more fun.
