Whats the new rumored iPad features suppose to be?
I think itll be less. I dont think itll be double the cost of the most expensive current 27" iMac.
Im hoping for around $2500 or less but I wouldnt be surprised if it started at $3000
Yes! Can't wait for Yosemite. Also very curious to see how expensive a Retina iMac will be. Probably around 4k I'd guess.
For those on the verge of buying some sort of Apple product, here's a useful site. It's the MacRumors Buyer's Guide.
I wonder if the new iMacs will feature touch screens.
Oh yeah, I guess I'm thinking of a maxed out one. Base 27" model for 2.8-3k maybe.
if a 27 retina iMac is ready for this year, i dont think i can hold out. i love my retina MBP, but I want my external screen to be higher res, too. Ill probably trade up.
if they get it below 3k, I’m there day oneotherwise I wait for refurbs...
nah. If Apple were to ever make a hybrid touch/mouse pointer device (and it doesn’t look like they will in the next few years, at least) it’d debut on a laptop form, not desktop.
how much for that MBPr friend?
You sure he has the "last one" and not the 2nd generation? I had two 2nd-gen Apple TVs and ran into that same problem - would randomly stop streaming and required reboots. I bought 3rd gens last month to replace them and it's been great. The 2nd gen, since it can be jailbroken and 3rd gen can't, gets almost double its original MSRP on ebay.
Even though I have the 3rd gen I'd still also like to see something new with the Apple TV.![]()
Hope they can run that res smoothly. You always think Apple can't go even thinner, and then they do.
Rumors banded about of a screen upgrade to 'retina' 5120 x 2880.
Any other rumors for iPad upgrades other than the fingerprint scanner? From what I read this seems like an incremental update.
Hope they can run that res smoothly.
I am going to buy it anyways as I need a new desktop but if they give it a decent graphic card that can easily output at that res I am going to be very happy this winter.
Gimme some Yosemite.
It might end up being the last OS X update for this warhorse, depending on my finances next year![]()
i hope the new ipad is not as hideous as the iphone 6
i'd love to upgrade from my ipad1
Touch ID, A8+M8 coprocessor, 2GB ram (maybe), matte screen (at least on the Air), slimmer, gold color option.

Hmmmm iPad Pro?
will trade my 13" MBPretina for iPad Pro + Mac mini +Apple Cinema Displaycheaper korean 4K monitor
Well, there was some speculation about that split-screen multitasking feature being either exclusive to these (presumably) 2GB RAM-outfitted iPads, or it simply getting announced alongside them, I reckon.
New iLife updates could be interesting. They haven't done anything interesting with iLife in ages. (Rewrites for a few, I suppose, but really nothing to enhance or add to the "The Mac contains everything you need right out of the box!" experience at the end of the day).Tim:

iMovie will probably get an update to support the retina macs, iPhoto is pretty much dead, not sure what else they can do with GarageBand
fucking hell I just upgraded from an iPad 1 to an Air
Assuming you're not trolling, your Air is perfectly fine. If you got the Retina you're gonna be set for a while. If you got a non-Retina you werent really looking for the latest model anyway.fucking hell I just upgraded from an iPad 1 to an Air

Also what the above person said. Every October like clockwork. Every October. iOS devices don't change dates anymore.
