Imho he was truly emotionally affected by how this escalated yesterday and how here and all over the internet people were only talking about pixels, AA and technical problems while he was happy to share his experience on a french forum and enjoying the game.
I don't think he wants to fight with you about the bluriness of the game or anything.

Whilst true... why would they go to the effort of faking the meta data when all they were doing were sharing the love of AC with the world, not at all foreseeing this 'episode', and why would they want it to seem like they were properly exported images by faking the meta only to then say they were just bog-standard shared images and not properly exported?

We know that games can still be fun without them looking amazing. But that's not the issue here. We were shown the game months ago, and it looked amazing...now we have seen the game again, and it doesn't look as amazing. That's the issue here. Ubisoft continuously lies to our faces.

It's funny cause I earned this title with the ACU hype thread. It's good when people joke about it like calling me yves and stuff like but a bit irritating when people go like "never listen to him, he's just a ubi fanboy/he works for ubisoft/conspiracy. I've stated many times on the forum where i'm actually from and what college I go to and what I do on a daily basis. At this point I think it would be best to just ask a mod to change my title so that it stops derailing this thread.
If I had a vested interest in Ubisoft products selling then I would be hyped for the crew, which I am not, it's not a fun game. I would also be planning on buying far cry 4 day one, which i'm not. In fact, the only Ubi products i've bought this year are Child of Light and WD. The company's success is not a priority for me in anyway shape or form. Sorry to disappoint.

Its amazing how many people dont understand this. Its not just about pixels its about Ubi blatantly lying about all of their flagship titles.
I guess we're supposed to be touched that his parents bought him consoles his whole life, or that he worked in a McDonalds. The music should swell when he goes into his final amazing apology for Ubisoft's nonsense.
Isnt that the whole issue. And isn't it sad that's the buzz when if they didn't lie and treat their customers and fans like idiots, people would probably be focusing on the positives?
There's a lesson here. Hopefully Ubi is listening. Stop with the blatent disrespect your marketing department is throwing out at your consumers and let your games speak for themselves.

Thats my point. You have people thinking this is just about 900p. The issue is Ubi fucking lying on a constant basis about their titles. I love their games but god just be at least halfway truthful. I really hope this new vid coming looks awesome and those screens were just a poor representation.

Well, if AC games had a great narrative or didn't recycle the same gameplay every year, I'd agree. This is AC, which doesn't have much outside of spectacle.

Yup. Which means gamers as consumers should be louder then ever. Otherwise it will get worse.
Just as we now have exclusive DLC content within DLC packages. Consumers need to speak up, even more so when these companies are making bank.

I hope you are joking because if you are not, you do know that the game is releasing to the masses in 10 - 11 days, reviewers will review it and DF will take apart the game piece by piece so that everyone can decide to get the game or not so, what's the problem with people waiting? I'm in the boat of lets wait and see when the game is out. People who have the game are reporting that it looks better than the screenshots posted and i'd be inclined to believe them for now because they OWN the game however, soon everybody will get to read about the game from everybody and not just a few people.
I don't condone the lying of UBI though. Hopefully next time they will shut the fuck up about their games so that then only their game footages are available for people to come at with their own judgement's and nothing else.
It would have "black bars" around the whole image, the game just upscales everything to fit the screen.
