Enjoy it. I finished uni last year and been working for about 8 months now. U dont realise how much free time you have when you are at uni. I suppose its nice not being poor anymore. I still eat uni food though ie "mi goreng".

Added to the list. Love it in light amounts, I don't dolup it onto toast. My main toast regime is one piece peanut butter, one piece Vegemite, turn into sandwich, consume.
Also goes great on a piece of toast under a poached egg.

Back in MY day Mi Goreng was only 45c! Went to pick up a bundle the other day and it was like 70c! WTF!

Given that I spent half of my life in the Philippines and the other half in Saudi Arabia. Chances are I'll find it cold. I'm pretty excited to try on some of the thermal wear that I got.

Pretty excited to continue my education studies there(I'm a teacher by profession). Plan on joining some teaching organizations while I'm there.

Nice to know most people there are friendly. What sort of activities can I do there? I'm an avid tennis player/board gamer. Finding some groups who do this kind of thing would be good.

I'm also want to try some local Aussie beers and wines.

As for Bogans(looked it up in Google) can't be any worse than other countries. Once met a fellow teacher(granted he was an Islamic studies teacher) who argued that the moon was flat .

Toowoomba is pretty good. I went to high school there. It does get cold in the winter and it can be pretty rainy and wet at times. There was some pretty decent tennis courts etc. Board game wise there was a couple of places that used to sell all types of games. They should be able to hook you up with more players.

several years back, I basically went full on hermit mode for a couple of weeks and learnt to write all the jouyou kanji (heisig). 200 kanji at 10 hours a day pretty much.

2017 is better imo - IA doesn't seem to have the same level of crazy explosions and despite the levels having more objectives than 2017 they didn't seem particularly fun. Less scope overall in terms of environment, enemy diversity, the weapons unlock system was kind of annoying, and corpses disappear far too quickly. A lot of little things add up to that leave the weapons not feeling as impressive as in the other games. On the positive side the different armours idea was cool though I'd prefer that weapons weren't tied to particular classes. And the mechs were way easier to pilot. For $15 it's not a bad purchase, but as an EDF fan it's the one game I haven't bought yet. Played it through once local co-op with a friend and that's enough for me, i'll wait for the next Sandlot one. Actually that sounds pretty negative: I should say I did have good co-op fun with it. EDF's strength to me has always been in local co-op, cracking a few beers or what have your and making ant fountains together.

Also, Wildgoose has been chief for how long? He's one of the few from Hyper who I remember being quite switched onand enjoyable. I've just had a quick flick through (only really picked it up on Gaz' recommendation), saw some of the articles and now feel a bit ashamed that I've been neglecting it for this long. While Hyper seemed to lose it's way, PCPP seems to have stuck it's ground from way back when Ben Mansill edited. They even kept the Quake ghoul logo for The Beast.

Is it still good? Has it always been and have I just been a bit shit?

Deadly Premonition / Red Seeds Profile I'm guessing? IA doesn't quite have the same level of camp as the earlier games (Damn you mothership! Did we wake you!?) but it's still there.

Agreed. I found that as a result of the three episode season Sherlock uses, the middle episode in both seasons have been the weakest. The Asian episode in season 1 and now Hounds have only been mediocre. Meanwhile the season openers and finales have all been excellent, some of the best TV on right now.

Fuck yeah. That game was gold. I'm going to be pissed if the franchise if THQ goes under. Also Saints Row and Darksiders. But there was so much potential in Space Marine. Add some giant tanks and crazier alien enemies and you've got a winner
