Exact same here. Collecting my thoughts but that was one of the most entertaining movies I have seen in theaters. Man that was exhausting. And a LOT darker than I expected. I can understand the disappointment of others though. It's very different than anything I thought it would be.

Just saw it and I loved it... super dark and the action was fuck awesome. Completely different from the first but I found it for the better.

I thought it was fantastic. I think it might be my favorite super hero movie... Joss (or was it Marvel) certainly tried to jam a whole lot into this movie, but other than Thor, I thought everybody really shone in this movie.

I really like the first Avengers, but I certainly didn't love it. I loved this movie. My theater (Toms River, NJ) was only 40% full though.

Good movie. Liked it better then the first solely because of the action but it retained most of the rest of the things I didn't like about the first.

Winter Soldier and GotG are still far and away my favorites. Avengers 1/2/Iron Man are mid tier and the rest of the Marvel movies I couldn't care less about.

Just got back, and while not as good as Avengers 1, Winter Soldier or Guardians, it's still an awesome film. It's just that there's so much packed into the film, an extra 15-20 minutes to flesh things out would really help catapult it to the top. I really hope a director's cut is released. Can't wait to watch it again!
