Typically by outlets or "content creators/streamers" that people tend to not care about if that's not their thing. Why do people hate watch/hate read? If you KNOW they're gonna say something you don't agree with, why not just ignore it and pay attention to someone that's more of your vibe? It just all feels like a waste of energy.

While I personally don't care for the game, I don't think it's "fair" to just call people "defending" (who seem to be those interested in the game in the slightest) losers. I mean, they probably care more about the game itself than the people developing it. I don't think I've seen anyone here defending this guy or anyone else on the team's opinion. They just liked Obsidian games, and hope Avowed is good or decent.

I mean, if the game seems decent enough I'll check it out cause Game Pass.

Surely that applies to every game? To give you an idea of how stupid your post is, are movie reviews held to the standard of say Citizen Kane? Everything must be reviewed on its own merit and not directly compared to some all time classics.

Only the most terminally online differentiate the individual who reviewed the game as opposed to the outlet. Normal people say "IGN gave this a 9" not "Frick and Frack from IGN gave this a 9". It's the responsibility of the EIC to make sure the reviewers don't discredit their site.

I'm asking a simple question. Is there more than the loonie? They seem to know the studio. When you make a claim like " all the awful people that is in charge of this studio", then I imagine you know the studio quite well. Should be simple answer. Make a list of names.

Exactly. An individual developer (or even a minor few) shouldn't affect how someone feels about a game made by hundreds. Regardless if they agree or disagree with that person's personal opinions. Hell, I don't even see the point of being involved in the developers. Pay attention to the game itself, and judge it then. The final product is what matters. You're giving your time to the game that was created, not to a random individual on the team.
