Wait WHAT!?!
RIP SSD Users T_T.
I think part of their strategy is to make sure games run like crap on AMD too.
The only Exception in the Next-gen Cycle of Nvidia Approved games I've played is Ground Zeroes , but that game doesn't have GameWorks.
Is this what people are talking about when they mention the stuttering?
Am I the only one this game is running alright for maybe because I installed it on an SSD?
Pre-order from Steam and enjoy that flexibility of refunding.
Witcher 3 runs great on my 280X. Hell it ran better on AMD cards than on Nvidia's own Kepler series cards.
A port worse than Saint's Row 2, that's impressive
Does the Harley Quinn DLC come as part of the Season Pass?
Seems like PC patch will around 20-30GB size, based on the some of the posters on PC Gamer.
Actually I get an error when I type out the following:
licences_for_app 208650
>>> command not found: licences_for_app
So either I'm doing something wrong or I just need to get a separate key from ozgameshop.
Im tempted to buy still b/c I also never had issues with MKX and I see others are having OK experiences too. So tempting....have PS4 and I only intend to play at 1080p but really REALLY want 60fps. Have 780, i3570

Thats what I did.
Nvidia made Hairworks to run like crap on AMD. Its all part of the strategy.
The Harley Quinn DLC was rolled into the game's pre-order subs. I suspect he was given a post-release key.

Not everyone is having problems so that's kind of a bullshit reply. The only problem i have run into is i drop 10 maybe 12 fps when in the Batmobile but being someone who isn't hung up on the fps thing it doesn't really bother me but other then the batmobile it's literally the only problem i have and it's The Witcher 3 all over again. Half of GAF was losing their shit at "how bad" it was while the other half had no problems.Okay, I got to the Batmobile and I absolutely have to stop.
This is unplayable. It constantly stutters for considerable fractions of a second as you drive around Gotham.
This is garbage. A garbage port.
Anyone that defends this is a nutcase.
I'll wait until it gets fixed, if ever.
Fucking shit, my CPU destroys the things used in consoles, streaming issues are the last things I should be experiencing.
Nah I got one of dem nvidia codes.
It is interesting that the PS4 version is 50GB whereas the Steam version, unpacked, is 37GB.
If they called it "high" but it was the same would you be happier?
There's only two settings as far as we can tell. Unless there's some huge glitch or something and nobody can get them.
Andy, anything from your side? I know that those problems aren't NVIDIA specific, but for sure you had some kind of idea about the performance before this shitstorm?
Buy it from steam and refund it if the port sucks. Should be simple enough.Im tempted to buy still b/c I also never had issues with MKX and I see others are having OK experiences too. So tempting....have PS4 and I only intend to play at 1080p but really REALLY want 60fps. Have 780, i3570
I want to hear back from these people with low performance after they've unlocked the framerate.
Hmph... Maybe the secret is Windows 10.Yeah, you won't get 60FPS. I have a 980 and I only get that when indoors.
Not true - game still stutters when streaming the game world regardless. First thing I did was unlock the FPS and it's not steady.
What's the point of adding DRM if you're already using a Steam account? Steam should be enough to protect against piracy, but this is just idiotic.
I hope they patch it out and have everything running well for PC gamers
I don't think it was because I was given a pre-order Steam code for the game on Sunday but it didn't include the HQ DLC. I have been trying to get the reseller to sort it out today.
Most of the issues you're hearing about are from people who haven't tried unlocking the framerate.
Not an actual authorised reseller. They are probably selling keys coming from the NVIDIA promotion, those got the bonuses pulled.http://www.ozgameshop.com/pc-games/...oad-for-steam-with-harley-quinn-pre-order-dlc
I got it from there, very reliable shop and it even says Harley Quinn pre-order DLC, I'm not sure what is wrong.
Yet you keep linking me to screencaps of reviews from people complaining about 30fps lock.
Like texture LoDs?Anyone with Windows 10 having streaming issues?
Ok, I have a 4790K, 16gb RAM and a 980 Ti.
You're telling me I can run this on a rock solid 30fps at 4K ?
Any graphical tweak other than unlocking FPS on ini file and then capping with msi afterburner?
Enlighten me please?!

We're aware that some users are reporting performance issues with the PC version of Batman: Arkham Knight. This is something that Rocksteady takes very seriously. We are working closely with our external PC development partner to make sure these issues get resolved as quickly as possible.
We'll update this thread when we've got more info to share.
Thanks

Oh, sorry, it's licenses. Curse my Australian English spelling.

I acknowledge the game has problems since clearly so many people are having trouble but don't like anyone who isn't having problems is a fucking nutcase or some undercover spy.
I would assume that he/she is talking about the apologists and not those who have no trouble with the game. Also, judging from the number of comments, much more than half of the people here have issues with the game. Not everyone is having problems so that's kind of a bullshit reply. You can make hairworks run fine on AMD GPUs if you tweak the tesselation settings in the drivers without it looking noticably worse. And I was under the impression Nvidia GPUs had specific Components for that kind of stuff that AMD GPUs don't? Someone correct me if I'm wrong and it's just driver level optimizations
Denuvo is surprisingly effective, as far as I can see Lords of the Fallen and Dragon Age Inquisition have yet to be cracked (despite news reports) which is almost unheard of in regards to PC games.
I always suspected something shady about this, when they changed the min PC specs silently a day before the release date.
10fps? Dude your game runs at ONE THIRD of the intended speed. The Input Delay is 3x higher than intended. I'm not someone who is hung up on framerate, far from it, but most people would consider 10fps literally unplayable.
I read this a while ago , could be wrong. https://steamcommunity.com/app/292030/discussions/0/522729359055831210/?l=english
Ok, wanted to play that yesterday but download was slow and had work this morning, finally getting my hands on this and the fucking controller (Xbox One) won't work, it's like it's not even there.
Anyone else getting this? And why the fuck am I getting playstation icons in the controller setup land intro menu ol, is this a PS4 port or what?
