Iron Galaxy is usually pretty decent, I feel porting a game this complex and huge was way too much for them though. They didn't have the experience.
They also did Crimson Dragon fwiw.

Sigh
Is the Denuvo thing confirmed or just suppositions?
Anyone who rationalises "it plays pretty smooth with the 30FPS lock on" is a mug.
Just to clarify that was Arkham City. I am hoping the lazy wall/door/rooftop textures in that game are much better in the new game.
You are definitely NOT getting 60fps with that rig.
You probably won't even get a stable 30.
PS4 is the way to go for now. Some day, when it's polished up and you've upgraded, you can pick it up on PC during a Steam sale and enjoy it at a higher frame-rate.
No doubt this will be fixed later, but Rocksteady games get crossed off my Day 1 purchase list. It's getting pretty short.
"It's filmic though. It's fine etc." and my favorite "solid 30fps". They love that word.
I think making snap poor reviews isn't the best idea, but on the other hand the Game was released in a questionable state.Performance problems can be fixed, but the PC metacritic score is fucked forever. 2 point fucking 2 right now.
We're aware that some users are reporting performance issues with the PC version of Batman: Arkham Knight. This is something that Rocksteady takes very seriously. We are working closely with our external PC development partner to make sure these issues get resolved as quickly as possible.

I am running off an SSD. Performance is fine, but the glitches and crashes are rampant. Are the people who aren't having too many issues running the game from an SSD rather than a HDD?
really? 780 and i3570k are OC'd and handle everything else. Assuming it's just not the game being busted, 30 should be no problem. 60 could be a push but maybe on normal settings I would be OK.

Yeah. I mean, everyone should have the same standard as you, right?Im so tired of that also. Making themselves feel better I guess.
It seems like I'm the only one not getting into any major issues besides the frame drops when things get crazy in the batmobile but that's to be expected considering how much is going on and the settings im running
Will you feel better if I say liquid 30fps?
I bought the PS4 version, fuck you rocksteady and Iron Galaxy.

I have both the PC and the ps4 version. Played both for 10 minutes. It is quite obvious that the ps4 version looks better. The rain effects look Much better on the ps4

I really hate whatever they did for the aliasing in this game.
Even at 4k and AA on. I can still see jaggies.
30fps isn't acceptable for a 970, let alone a 980+ and anyone who rationalises "it plays pretty smooth with the 30FPS lock on" is a mug.
go get your refunds, give it a one star review and move on with your lives.
What? Is there some Dark Knight Returns batmobile shenanigans in the game?Running from a normal HDD, no SSD. Had one crash light night, outside of that it's running pretty well for me. Get some stuttering when flying around in the tank, but that's about it.
I bought the PS4 version, fuck you rocksteady and Iron Galaxy.

The recommended specs for Ultra settings are a 980.

What PC specs are you running and with what graphics settings?
Edit: It runs pretty good for me and I'm on an HDD.
have you tried slapping on SMAA? I always added that through RadeonPro for all the Akrham games and it would smooth everything out so nicely.
Go find us the ultra settings and get back to us.
something just feels off. Aside from the frame rate, textures look really crappy, everything looks like it has a vaseline filter...it definitely looks nothing like the trailers I have seen. I have a 970 and it looks worse than screenshots and videos i have seen from the ps4 version. I wish I could take screenshots of what I am seeing, but printscrn pauses the game for some reason, and F12 isnt working for steam screenshots.
Its all just...odd. I am standing next to a brick wall and it just looks all blotchy and gross.
I think you're a bit confused.darkx10 is a bit like that. i remember he was advising people similar things when battlefield 4 game out, telling people who were getting a couple of dropped frames on a maxed out 1080p PC version to get the flawless PS4 version, despite that having huge framerate issues in multiplayer and running at a uniformly lower spec.
in this case, i think the only think muggier than putting up with a port this bad is giving the publisher an extra 10-15 notes to play it on another platform.
Man, I dunno, Rocksteady themselves did a fucking amazing job. The fact that the PC port was farmed out is the issue. Was it Rocksteady's decision? WB's?Yeah, fuck those guys! Let's give them our money! That'll show 'em!
