Well they aren't professional
Well it's not the same dude.

After all the Alexandros nonsense I think they deserve this one victory...
Anyone having issues with DS4 having really huge lag? It seems that if I press a button even in menus half the time it doesn't register and otherwise it might do it 10 times in a row. I use DS4Windows and it has worked perfectly fine otherwise.
Here's the thing that bugs me, didn't Rocksteady demoed the PC version in E3 2014? and now turned that the PC is handled by Iron Galaxy.
so what happened that turned it from the "show version" to outsorced port? did Rocksteady abondaned the development of PC version mid-development to focus on consoles or was the E3 2014 just a vertical slice that run on PC. the shift (and it's under one year) is just weird.
You can use DS4 without DS4Windows if you launch Steam through Big Picture mode. Try that. Works fine for me (and shows PS4 button prompts)
I agree with him in the sense that a lot of people here (and the broader vocal gamer) do act like babies, but that doesn't really mean that their concerns aren't legitimate.
Also you can't really call people babies and then proceed to respond like he did. If your game has issues you can't respond to people like that.
Plus, the whole argument that "every game released now is going to have problems the day of launch" is bullshit.
Prime example are Nintendo games. They don't launch with a number of issues day one. What a cop out excuse.
PS4 fanboys have become the ultimate trolls online at this point. Worse than Xbox 360 fanboys last gen.
They're all jumping on this making it seem as though this happens all the time on PC and so "just get it on PS4". As if the EXACT opposite hasn't actually been the truth this generation.
FUCK OFF already.
At this point, Vale/WB should take this game off the shelves, let developers work on it for 3-4 weeks and then re-release it. I doubt any patch will solve this shit show.
I'm gonna go pick up a PS4 copy and play that.
At this point, I've tried everything and nothing gets the game to be playable for me. Not even at 30 FPS. Too bad I am unable to refund the game. Ah well, shitty situation all around.
I'm gonna go pick up a PS4 copy and play that. Hope Rockstead/WB fixes it so you gents can enjoy the game.
The PS4 version has AO and the PC doesn't? The fuck?
Eh, don't think I said anything about sticking it to WB.Yeah! That'll show 'em! Way to stick it to WB!
Because "Ryan Moore" is such a unique name that it HAS to be the same person, right? Despite the NeoGAF user's profile stating that they're an IT professional and not a Director of Marketing?
Look, he's apparently a professional golfer too!

Do you see how stupid thinking two people are the same person just because they share a name?
Is there no way to force ambient occlusion on PC?
That explains why the PC version's lighting looks "flatter." One would think they would have included HBAO+, right? This whole thing is unbelievable.
Damn, that title that is b-b-b-b-brutal
Shitty game so I'll buy it twice? Maybe think twice before you give them $120At this point, I've tried everything and nothing gets the game to be playable for me. Not even at 30 FPS. Too bad I am unable to refund the game. Ah well, shitty situation all around.

That isn't the title. It's just one of the closing statements
Witch hunt gaf is going to fuck that poor guys life up.

- When verifying the integrity of the game cache on Steam, some users (who were offline or using VPN to open it early) have reported that the game deleted itself and re-downloaded everything.
No, especially when there may not even be a connection.
It is just me or is PS4 best looking version in this comparison?
I knew ambient occlusion was buggered - there's no haloing when you walk up against a wall on PC. This port is an utter mess.
Is it me or is PC lacking AO compared to the PS4 stuff?
Also, who gives a shit Kinthalis? What's the point of bringing up stupid outside-GAF shit here? There's so much stupidity out on the Internet regarding games, it's not like this is a new phenomenon.

PS4 version looks pretty much on par with PC, except PC has a much better framerate (30 vs 60)
It's only $60ish in total for both actually. But yea, I'm not taking a principled stand or anything. That's for other stuff. I just want to play the game.Shitty game so I'll buy it twice? Maybe think twice before you give them $120
Edit: my bad. I guess I shouldn't give advice about what you're comfortable doing with your own money!
The advice is brutal (ask for a refund), and it should be. Rake this port over hot coals.Damn, that title that is b-b-b-b-brutal
I'm in the same boat. Rock-steady with no gameworks and no ini edits on a 4690K and GTX970 with 8GB RAM. Nothing overclocked.
I had one stutter that was admittedly several seconds in a cutscene, but that was it in about an hour of play.

I understand why people are double dipping on the PS4 version (game feels good in the 5 minutes that was playable) but I wish they wouldn't haha. Or at least wait until you can get a used version (shouldn't be long).
