Anyone having issues with DS4 having really huge lag? It seems that if I press a button even in menus half the time it doesn't register and otherwise it might do it 10 times in a row. I use DS4Windows and it has worked perfectly fine otherwise.

Here's the thing that bugs me, didn't Rocksteady demoed the PC version in E3 2014? and now turned that the PC is handled by Iron Galaxy.

so what happened that turned it from the "show version" to outsorced port? did Rocksteady abondaned the development of PC version mid-development to focus on consoles or was the E3 2014 just a vertical slice that run on PC. the shift (and it's under one year) is just weird.

You can use DS4 without DS4Windows if you launch Steam through Big Picture mode. Try that. Works fine for me (and shows PS4 button prompts)

I want to hug you right now. This isn't a good faith effort on the part of the devs like say Skyrim where PC gamers banded together to shore up a buggy, but great game. PS3 version was another story. Lol

But I don't bat an eye on a Nintendo game 9 times out of 10 because I know they stake their reputation in each one and take it seriously.

At this point, I've tried everything and nothing gets the game to be playable for me. Not even at 30 FPS. Too bad I am unable to refund the game. Ah well, shitty situation all around.

I'm gonna go pick up a PS4 copy and play that. Hope Rockstready/WB fixes it so you gents can enjoy the game.

I think I'm one of the lucky ones, 2500k @ 4.5, 970 and 12gb ram - while there's certainly issues with the game (definitely agree there's a texture issue with the highest being normal), I'm at least able to play it without issue, with the MaxFPS set to 0 and games vsync off, and forcing 30fps vsync through afterburner. I think my OSD is lying as its showing a steady 30fps 33.3 frametime, but I can definitely feel some slight judder, but not getting the huge drops some are in the Bat-Tank. Godspeed to everyone who's unplayable though, hopefully Rocksteady/WB get a patch out sharpish (Like, today).

lol. my favourite was when lost asked about visually groundbreaking PC games no longer being in development, and people started posting screenshots of the order. i do love gaf.

If you think anything more than a patch can be developed in just 3-4 weeks, you don't understand game development. There's a lot of work required to prepare a major patch like the one they're going to need.

I went and got my steam refund and will probably revisit this one in a few months. Very disappointing, WB.

Man, this game is unplayable for me. flying around the city causes severe frame drops and using the batmobile is a stuttering low fps nightmare. GTX 970 FX8320. Redownloading the game in hopes it fixes something : [

Additionally, even if he is that Ryan Moore, trying to uncover somebodies' identity is just creepy. Even if he works for WB, he is entitled to his own opinion. There is just no reason to do this DetectiveGAF shit with him.

Just requested a refund. I'm definitely going to need a better card for this, and since all of the new ones come with free copies of AK, it doesn't really make sense to keep it right now since I can't play it.

I guess I'll lose the pre-order bonuses, but I can wait until they release those as DLC.

Just a note: I wasn't offline or didn't use a VPN to play early, and I had to redownload the whole game when I verified the game files.

It's only $60ish in total for both actually. But yea, I'm not taking a principled stand or anything. That's for other stuff. I just want to play the game.

The advice is brutal (ask for a refund), and it should be. Rake this port over hot coals.

It's not a personal vendetta from gamers, but bad products deserve to blasted. If I did bad work I'd immediately expect it get demolished by critics and buyers alike. Life 101. What's more is that this is not a subjective assessment: it's bad through and through.

I understand why people are double dipping on the PS4 version (game feels good in the 5 minutes that was playable) but I wish they wouldn't haha. Or at least wait until you can get a used version (shouldn't be long).

So ppl with gtx 970 seem to have no real issues? Pc gamer only seemed to get stutter when interacting with the batmobile.

On 980ti and getting major frame rate dips just gliding around the city.

I get the feeling had this issue been on console something would be done about it but because it's on pc its not that important. I hope WB / rocksteady don't get away with this port.

How the fuck does the PC version not have AO? What the fucking fuck?

I knew there was something off when comparing footage between the 2 versions earlier and this explains it. There's the reason I prefer the look of the ps4 version.

But all in all, this is the closest to parity I think we've ever come. Congratulations Warner Brothers.

I think I will hold out for a little while. I have Heavensward and Witcher 3 to finish off so I can let this game just sit to see what they do with it.
