"That Vigilante likes to stay in the shadows, have an affinity towards bats, he is some kind of Batm.." *Prrrrroooooowwwffff his fart is too loud*

I am doing it right?

No.

Nobody makes a fart like "prrooowwwff"

Nobody's asshole has ever gone "prroooowwfff"

Butts don't have the necessary parts needed to combine vowel sounds and sibilants at that level. You'd need buttlips and a butthroat.

Either that or you swallowed the MGM lion with your leather cheerio.

He is Hopeman bitch
lmao

what the heck

When did she call him Soup smart guy?

Was it Campbells inspired?
she suggested the name before they were rudely interrupted

Never underestimate the power of Kryptonian farts!

Dawn of Justice would have been millions of times more appealing by itelself with the Batman/Superman logo without the names.

Rename it imo.

Batman v Superman sounds silly as fuck.

Should've been World's Finest, maybe even with the DoJ subtitle. The title should refer to Batman and Superman in some fashion, so I don't think Dawn of Justice would've been right by itself.

It's no big deal though. If Batman v Superman sells more tickets then so be it. I just hope critics' heads aren't up their asses when they see this movie.

Why don't you just call it "Justice League Prologue" and be done with it?

"World's Finest". It's simple, historical, not cluttered. Why not?

Because it doesn't match the tone they are going for. It's a stupid name. Don't get me wrong, so is Dawn of Justice, but World's Finest is not any better and would be a bad fit.

I don't like the title, but I also don't think it should have had the phrase "Justice League" anywhere in it. It's not a JLA movie. Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman does not make a Justice League.

Ugh. Hate the title. Should have been called "Batman/Superman: World's Finest" or "Superman/Batman: World's Finest."

Whatever, just get World's Finest in there. Eh. I am still there opening night, but still not expecting great things.

A "/" in a movie title?

BTW "/" actually means substitute. So for instance male/female, yes/no...etc

It wouldn't work for this plus it would sound stupid as fuck. Hey let's go see Batman SLASH Superman...Yeah how about no.

To be honest I've ALWAYS thought "The Worlds Finest" was a silly name for a Batman Superman crossover. This particular title doesn't feel right either. Doesn't need a subtitle. Batman vs Superman alone would have been fine with me.

Fine. How about Batman & Superman: World's Finest or similar. Anything but the "v" in there. And with World's Finest at the end.

would be cooler if they replace the v with a &

the former implies we're gonna have batman beating up superman with that power-armor. god damn i'm pissed that snyder is such a miller fanboy. didn't want that scene in this.

You can't always get what you want. But if you try sometimes well...you get what you need.

Because World's Finest Comics brings to mind things like this:

This movie, meanwhile, is drawing inspiration from Dark Knight Returns, which is as close to the opposite of that as you can get.

You don't honestly believe people are going to know what this is and say no I am not going see a movie with batman and superman because it shares the name of a silver age comic

But to add to that point:

You could call this "Batman v superman: come drink from a hobo's poisoned anus" and it'll still make more money than you will in seven lifetimes

So what the fuck do I care

I didn't say people didn't know what it would be. People are going to know what the new Batman movie is no matter what they call it. I just said it's just as dumb. People act as if the movie would magically be better if they gave it some stupid title like "World's Finest" just so that fanboys can go "I GET THAT REFERENCE!" when it doesn't even fit what Snyder is seemingly going for.

I feel that keeping "Batman v Superman" in there is actually one of the most honest corporate titling decisions of the last decade or so. Even if they tried to call it something different, it would have solidified as that in everyone's mind anyway, so they're just cutting out the middleman and making it official.

That logo, on the other hand... bleh. Were the producers' parents killed by a rogue gang of sentient colours? I just can't deal, man.

I guess we will have to agree to disagree.

Doesn't matter what you think. These have been the biggest names in comics since forever.

Doesn't make that statement true. Batman is up there but superman fell from grace in the 90s and still only just started getting back up after Man of Steel. Spiderman, wolverine and ironman are "finer" than Supes at this point. If this movie presents a good Supes then maybe you could call the next one Worlds Finest. Actually nah....still hate that name.

For a sequel to a Superman movie they sure are highlighting the fact that it's a Batman and Justice League vehicle.

Can't wait for a solo Superman reboot in the next 20-30 years :(

It was never really announced as MOS 2 was it?

It was clear after MoS they wanted to move along towards JL so this is the next phase of that move. Not necessarily a MoS 2 but Batman and Superman.

Also those worrying that this makes Batman the main character because they just revealed him and his car...you do realize its because this is a new Batman. The Nolan-Bale Batman is gone so they sort of have to re-introduce him. Superman is played by the same actor and at most will have minor touch ups on his suit.

I still can't believe people crying so much over a title. Yes Batman will fight Superman in the movie. We all know this is how it will at least start off and by the end or even in the middle they will join forces. Doesn't Batman is automatically the main character but the marketing might focus more on him because its Batman and he is being re-introduced.

Whether the movie sucks or not won't be decided by the title. Good news is Snyder's visuals are awesome and the re-write was done by a much better writer than Goyer. Let's at least see them together in footage.
