Dat Justice

Who's the attorney representing Superman? I hear that the Batman DA has quite a strong case against him.

What the fuck is this title?

Oh no, you're quite right. It's a very unique title. I'm sure everyone will care very much about that subtitle and how excitingly it portrays the movie. It's not like there's a whole form of media out there from movies to books to who knows what else that have used the same naming scheme.

That's not the point. You said Age of Ultron is a generic title. By definition it isn't. By definition Dawn of Justice is.

Yeah, the "v" is probably there because the movies not gonna have them fighting, its gonna be a court case. that's the only way batman could beat superman anyways.

Should have been Man of Steel, My Metropolis Is Messed Up So You Gotta Fight Batman 2: It's Straight-Up Justice Time.

Well, you have to keep in mind that that was Pre-Crisis Superman, where he was powerful enough to do stuff like that. After the Crisis reboot, John Byrne made him a lot weaker, so he couldn't reverse time or juggle planets, and powerful laser blasts could stagger him.

Though DC's been powering him back up over the years, and he got a new reboot in the New 52, so I'm not sure how powerful he currently is.

But which one did they show in Man of Steel? About a day or two after learning how to fly, Superman was holding his own against the big guy who can throw trains and the (hot) girl that is so fast she can practically teleport...I LOVE Bruce Wayne more than the next guy but he can't teleport or even lift a train let alone throw it.

SEE the landmark case Batman v Superman.

HEAR the arguments that brought about this crucial ruling

LEARN the facts behind this monumental legal battle!

"Whomever wins, we ... win?"

I love this concept. So what do we think the grounds were for Batman to file his lawsuit? Class-action lawsuit on behalf of those who bought tickets for Man of Steel?

They didn't need to have either of their names in the title, the logo would've been enough to let people know who was in the movie.

Should have been Birdman v Superman.

Confirmed: GAF hates blind people.
Yes, blind people watch movies. I saw it in an episode of Becker.

I wonder why they went with V instead of VS?

Also given Goyer's latest comments I wonder if WB is going "close one" by bringing in Chris Terriro having him have the sole writing credit, replacing Goyer with him getting another credit.

I just got an EXCLUSIVE tip from an EXCLUSIVE tipster with an EXCLUSIVE excerpt from the transcript of the EXCLUSIVE corporate meeting at WB deciding the name of this film.

Apparently a LOT of research went into this thing.

Is that real?

In response to being asked about the hero, Goyer asked, “How many people in the audience have heard of Martian Manhunter?” After hearing some light applause and cheers, he added, “How many people that raised their hands have ever been laid?”

"Iron Man v. Captain America: Avenging Begins" was a pretty awesome movie, and a much better, less wordy and less cumbersome title than The Avengers. I'm sure this will be good too.

The name is the least of this movie's troubles. I'm just concerned that they're not going to get the dynamic of Batman and Superman right. Being influenced by Frank fucking Miller is not what I want to see when it comes to Batman and Superman.

They're bros. They may disagree, but they share the same code, and when it comes down to it, they're going to be back to back, fighting the good fight. I worry that making the entire movie about Batman vs Superman will introduce too much animosity, and make any team up in Justice League ring false.

Man of Steel was already worrying in this regard, I hope they know what they're doing with this one.

Superman and Batman have a debate about if God is real or not. Batman screams "I HATE GOD!" to which Superman replies "How can you hate him, if he isn't real?" At which point Batman breaks down and stumbles from the debate hall out into the street where he is struck by Wonder Woman's invisible 2014 DODGE DART II. With his final breath, Bruce accepts the lord into his heart and dies, as Diana and Clark kneel beside his convulsing body and thank God for this miracle.

If there's more meaning behind the name than people think, Batman v Superman could mean that it's Bruce who will take action against Superman for whatever reason. Alien, Metropolis destruction, can't be trusted, etc.
