Batman V Superman TV Spot 1

Still doesn't make sense with your "butthurt" comment. Unless your implying people are unreasonably upset that some people think this looks good or are excited about this film which I haven't seen.

Just let it go dude.

Anyways. I excited for for this film. I think Batman looks great in motion and Superman looks terrific in this spot. Day one and I can't wait.

My first reaction on watching this was positive. It was edited into oblivion given it was a 30 second TV spot but I liked it none the less.

I felt the visual impact of the Batmobile literally bouncing off of Superman as he simply stood in the street was muted somewhat but I doubt it will play that way in the final film. If anyone knows how to really give a scene like that 'pop' it's Snyder.

I'm going on a lock dow now as future TV spots will probably give more away but I still think that this film is going to blow people away when it opens.

The hell was up with the sound effects in the clips. The sound that the Batmobile makes when it collides with Superman and crashes is weak as fuck.

Fantastic TV spot. It's too bad the 2nd one like the 2nd official trailer is complete garbage.

I can only imagine the hype for this film if they only kept the Teaser, the Comic Con trailer, the Sneak Peak and the first TV spot. It would of been huge.

Because it's awful.

The Wayne/Kent stare-down is great, but once the BOYS MMMM kicks in, it reminds me that this movie once had David Goyer on board.

So you've seen the complete scene (and movie) then? Please tell me more.

Yeah, I'm the one that needs to let it go. If you can't properly backup such a statement then don't be foolish enough to make it.

The thing about trailers and tv spots in general is that they are hit and miss as an indication of what the movie will ultimately be. I really loved the comic con trailer for this but felt the second trailer was a bit jarringn in the beginning and gave away too much. Hitting all the right beats in marketing is not easy though. My best friend cuts music for movie trailers and he talks about how he'll get very vague direction on tone and intention.

Actually, if you look closely the car doesn't bounce off Supes, he punts it a little.

I don't know, not feeling it. Warner needs to get whoever cut that Comic Con trailer and have him/her make another one.

I kinda feel bad for dc.

This movie's locked down to make at least a billion. It's got the Batgawd, and no real competition for like a month. DC will be fine.

And yeah it's weird how affleck sounds like a much more menacing bruce than batman. That war line when he's speaking to Alfred is badass, these batman lines sound kinda lame in comparison.

I like the delivery of the war line a lot. Methinks we'll see something new from big screen Batman in this movie.

Clownshoes indeed. And people are confused over how anyone is demonstrating butthurt behavior.

I don't get it. Do some people simply WANT this to fail? Some of the posts in threads like this harken back to console wars on the gaming side really.

If youre truly a fan of these characters you should be more excited than....whatever it is that's happening. But to each their own. Everyone is entitled to their opinions.

Superman and Batman are my most beloved characters and I've been waiting for this movie since I was a kid in the 80s, but the last trailer and this TV spot have really deflated my hype. Hopefully it's just poor editing for these trailers....

I figured out my problem with this. Batman saying "you will" as Kal is leaving makes him look the lamest person on earth.

That line can work if he said it quietly to himself.

But watching him fly away as he says it makes Batman look like a crazy stalker. Heck, that might be what they're going for. I'd like to see Superman lose sleep over the thought of Batman following him.

Don't be daft.

I'm going by footage WB Snyder himself released. It's fair game.

You're literally saying the scene is so awful (based on 20 seconds of said scene) that they should just cut it out. Even without knowing context, how it will play out, the importance to the plot etc. All out the window just because you don't like this version Lex (which you also haven't seen).

Okay.

I really hope we haven't seen the whole film with these trailers. That's my biggest concern at this point.

I promise you that the movie is not about six minutes long.

did I say something wrong?

This movie looks kinda bad and a horrible way to start out the dcmu.

You guys are high. That second trailer from a while back was horrid, but this is perfection. Its exactly what they need to do to get people majorly interested.

I like it. Short sweet, and gets people hyped about a fight between BvS. Its really similar to that very first one they put out that had the same dialogue.

This is perfect.

It makes him look like the type of kid that says "Yeah I would have whooped your ass" when he knows you're out of earshot.

plenty of bad marvel movies too, some awful. but lets face it, both disney and wb are going to be making incredible bank off of these IPs for the next few years.

you'd be a fool to not think this will at least approach upwards of 7-800 million worldwide. i don't feel bad for them at all. i feel bad for superman fans though, he seems pretty bland in all these trailers so far.

I know I am only one but as a Superman fan I have taken no issue with the direction of this incarnation. I really like it actually.

i really like the idea of how they're all scared of him, and you got your racists and fear-mongering opinions etc.

but man cavill didn't show any charisma in the costume last time. it would be nice if he steps up to the plate for this movie. or else prepare for the batgawd to take lead of the justice league.
