I think my plan to play this on Series X actually works to my benefit, even though I'll have to wait a bit longer.

By the time it comes to Xbox, they'll have ironed out the kinks, I can probably get it on sale, and it'll probably run better and have all those post-release balance changes and hotfixes applied already.

If Game Science fit a more powerful PC in a PS5 shell then that's more impressive than just optimising the PS5 version of an UE game.
