I don't think game prices will go up.
But I think publishers will start to do more DLC and pre-order bonuses. Especially if Sony doesn't do the used game DRM and MS backs off of it.
They will literally take out more pieces of the game and give it to you only when they confirm you paid full price.

Of course XBLA is going to increase in price. They were charging you $60 for absolutely fucking nothing before, now they actually have dedicated servers and a cloud service.
How could anyone be so ignorant?
And still ignorant even thought the tables have turned with Uncharted, Killzone, God of War, inFamous, Heavy Rain, etc.

I remember the very month the PS3 launched Gamespot had a "TOP 10 REASONS NOT TO BUY A PLAYSTATION 3" article plastered big on their front page and it stayed there for over 2months. It's kinda funny to see MS complaining about media biased even after they know they had a horrible reveal & nothing the media or game forums are saying is a lie or even purposefully lying which is what was happening with the PS2 & PS3 during the 1st 3-4 yrs of launch.
...WOW! ... WO..! ... WOW! See, people forget the insane FUD that was thrown at the PS3. It was pure unadulterated veil hate! Really, Perfect Dark Zero looked and played better than Resistance 1?! ... and R1 looked like a PS2 game?!.. with it doing 20v20 online day one?! and Motorstorm looks like an N6... WOW, just wow.
We forget what it was like to be a PS fan back from 2006-2010 but thank goodness for technology. Oh, remember when every gaming site was saying the PS3 wasn't going to be playing used games? Remember that craziness? lol, crazy!

Yeah Alex is a huge MS fan, though when he was given a PS3 in the TRS days he really loved a lot of the PS3 games they reviewed (uncharted 2, journey etc.)
Why is no one talking about the girl on this who's awful? Her experiences seem like there are in the minority. She said she uses voice commands on a regular basis? That's absurd. That's the one thing I don't like about the One is that everything is friggin voice commands. I have a damn kid in the house and it won't be a happy house if I have to yell at my TV all the time. I do enough of that during Football season.

I've watched Alex for years on TRS and I expected his response so I wasn't too annoyed. Jeff Cannata always balanced out his gaming opinions well.

To be fair, Alex isn't a journalist at all. He just likes MS a lot. I remember him on diggnation loving Zune or some shit. Maybe not Zune but it was something from MS.

I like when Garnett is on another show. I find you get his actual opinion on these shows which I really appreciate, when its his damn show he tends to play devils advocate or just mediate the conversation with only a sprinkle of his actual opinion. I pretty much agreed with everything he said on this.
