I bought beard wax a while ago, but the determined curliness of my facial hair defeats this and keeps me firmly in mad beard tramp visage.

If I'm just going to work I'll just brush it to either side to keep it out of my mouth, but if I'm going out, or preparing for sexy times with Mrs Matrix, I might give the ends a bit of a curl. Any of you crazy cats have an XBone and a Virgin Media TiVo?

I'm curious to see how they play together. I'm debating picking up an XBone but I'm only really interested in playing DR3. I have my PS4 for multiplats (and I don't really get much time to play that), and my TV / Media duties are admirably handled by TiVo / Smart TV / Apple TV. I can't imagine that I'd actually run my TiVo through the XBone, but if it's particularly cool or useful for some reason I haven't thought of, I'd like to hear it.

Basically, I'm trying to sell myself on an XBone and so far I can't quite justify it.

More than price, they need decent games. Ground Zeroes - too short to be a justifiable investment - and Titanfall are the only games halfway close to even tempting me to the possibility of a PS4/XBO.

People bag on the Wii U but it is still a far better system if you want to play good games. Unless you dislike Nintendo games, in which case obviously you are not interested.

I'd have to disagree with you on Ground Zeroes. I've put in about 10 hours so far and still only 18% completion and still not unlocked all the story yet. Bit of a bargain tbh.

Everyman cinemas are pretty good. The seats they have are more like couches which is fine but the two movies I've seen at an Everyman were 3 hours long and by the end I could not feel by arse at all.

Your experience may differ.

Hampstead is too far away, Screen on the Green seems alright (Angel tube station; 2 stops from Euston which is Victoria line and I'd be getting there from Ewell East Surrey).

The seats you get at a Vue or Odeon are spongy and resistant.

The couch-like things they have at Everyman are initially soft but over time compress to your weight and harden up. After an hour and a half this leads to sever Deep Vein Thrombumsis.

Just finished Ground Zeroes again on hard. Spent the first rescue killing every single guard in the camp silently,plotting all of my moves like a creepy serial killer. Spent the second planting explosives everywhere and sniping everyone. I really love this game.

I'm going to at some point. I played MGS on the PlayStation at the time and thought it was great. So have been catching up via the Vita - finished number two which was also great and then started 3, but I didnt like it at first because it wasn't crazy enough. So I stopped for about a year and now started again and it's fun and daft. I might try and play in order so once I've done 3 will try PW and the other portable one. I'm disappearing down the Kojima rabbit hole. I mean what if there were robotic walking tanks? And the president was a clone? And Solidus was a real name? And America was run by right wing artificial intelligence?

3 is arguably the best one in the franchise so you'll do yourself a favor to finish it. I would say more but nanomachines spoilers.

Yes, the open stage was nice, but dragging people to extraction points reminded me of Portable Ops and that game was garbage. Why has Big Boss got an iPad but can no longer Fulton people aka the best thing ever.

Kojima has said the fulton recovery, cardboard box and goofiness will be back in The Phantom Pain thankfully. I think it has the potential to surpass MGS3. I enjoyed Ground Zeroes but I didn't play it over and over trying to get the best rank for each mission and stuff.

Finally watched Gravity last night, excellent "experience" kind of movie. Plenty of really intense moments, it looked incredible and the score was amazing. There is an Ultraviolet download code if anyone wants it, one for Man of Steel too.

I played through it yesterday, it was moderately entertaining I guess, I couldn't get too excited by it though. It felt undercooked, a little stiff and only took like 40 minutes to finish. I dunno, it just wasn't all that fun to me but then I'm not a huge fan of the games.

Meh, it was OK but the controls were really complex. You had to hold multiple buttons and stuff, bit of a pain. It was no TM: World Tour anyway, that Paris level!
