No Lordi, no views from the Matrix household I'm afraid. Might watch the Eurovision episode of Father Ted when I get home tomorrow morning though.
I'm applying for a new job tomorrow. I doubt I'll even get an interview but it's a chance to talk to the department head and let them know who I am and to keep me in mind for other jobs with them in the future.

Oh and to all the Eurovisionphiles - me too! I was genuinely a little :-/ when I realised that I won't be able to watch it this year (unless I can find somewhere showing it in Kuala Lumpur).

Does anyone else think our entry is absolute balls? From what I saw last night I'm really liking Sweden, Hungary and of course Iceland (little bit gutted Latvia didn't get through, will bake a cake in their honour).

ps fans of Ubi Art and general gorgeous looking and sounding things - I am properly recommending Child of Light. I can't stand JRPGs but I'm loving this. Just make sure to play it on hard difficulty.

check out their album Jupiter for more along those lines, it's a really classic album. They used to be a proper grunty screamy hardcore blastbeat n beatdowns band but the singer was doing his throat in so they made something new and brilliant.

I'm going to check out Child of Light sploat, it looks rather spiffy. I love the gameplay systems of JRPG's but the cast of scantily clad, pre-pubescent, saucer-eyed little girls and cute anthropomorphised animal sidekicks usually puts me off. This could be just the ticket.
Also, why did I give my mixtape an "S" title? It's right at the bottom of the list, only Jed has listened to it so far...disappoint. Ah well, save the best for last innit!

Last night I started Everybody's Golf. Such a comfy game.
As usual in a golf game the overlay that's supposed to help you out when putting on a gradient is confusing but I'll get there.
It's funny though, I hate golf but love it in games. Reminds me of that Simpsons episode, I would rather play Lee Carvallo's Putting Challenge than Bonestorm.
