I always pick from House specialties when I'm buying Indian food. I'm just that fabulous.
Overall though I prefer Chinese/Thai. Tom Yam Chicken is the bee's pajamas.
EDIT
Where are my manners, welcome back Sploat, I trust you had a good vacation.
Are Daily Mail links blocked on GAF?
Hello dear. Yes it was just the ticket.
I dont understand Nepalese hate. A lot of them that live here fight for us, or at least have direct family that do. But even beyond that I've never met someone from Nepal that was nothing but courteous and genuinely nice. They deserve maximum respect.
I never even knew there was racism against British Nepalese people. Round here it's mostly anti-Asian, particularly Muslims who obviously want to destroy the great Christian heritage of the nation.
I tend to get a lamb biryani, but that's mostly because I'm bad with spicy hot food.
I've got the rest of last night's chicken saag aloo for lunch, tasty healthy shit.Damn you. Now I want a curry.
It's complicated, but in the past decade the Nepalese community had exploded, this report says that 10% of the population is Nepalese now, that's an incredible influx - http://buzz.bournemouth.ac.uk/nepaldershot/
So much culture clash and antagonism already, dark times are coming. The weird thing is that a massive proportion of these people are very elderly, so it might not be such a significant problem in a decade, but it's still changed the town. It was already poor, rough and bitter around here, way worse now that the underclasses have a scapegoat for their miseries.

Vita Britgaf! On the verge of getting a PS Vita Slim but apart from Uncharted and future remote play goodness I can't think of any other reason to get one. Any recommendations?
Would get a 3DS for smash bros but that's region locked :/ unless there's a way round that?
Tearaway
Killzone Mercenary (best since 2)
Gravity Rush looks interesting from the little bits I've played of it.
Dynasty Warriors
Persona 4 is meant to be amazing
Freedom Wars?
Lots of weird Japanese games
Perfect indie machine given the small screen works well with the simple artsy style of those games
Use it as a best of Playstation/Final Fantasy machine (Crash, Spyro, R&C, J&D, Metal Gear Solid 1-PW, FF1 through X-2, etc)
There's lots more but my mind is going blank.

Tearaway and Gravity Rush sound good. Not got much interest in the rest. Indie titles are a maybe considering I can play some of them in steam or Android. I currently use my PSP as a PSOne machine so I definitely wouldn't pick up a Vita for that reason.
Hmm, What's Persona like? Is that a fighting game?
You can import all those great Japanese visual novel titles like:
何らかの理由で私は私の妹の奴隷となっている。
妹はニンフであるが、彼女は実際に私のいとこであるため、それは大丈夫です。
助けて!私はビジュアルノベルに取り組み始めて、私の妹に夢中になってしまった瞬間!
私はそれがバターではないなんて信じられない。出来そう?

I really enjoy the Vita but there aren't very many really exceptional games that you can't get elsewhere. It works perfectly for me because I use it for lunch-breaks, train journeys, holidays etc. Remote play is brilliant though if you can get a good wifi connection.
Game-wise, if you're the kind of pervert who enjoys JRPGs you'll be in heaven. If you're sane / sensible / normal (oh ho ho ho) then there are a smattering of decent games -
Tearaway is the best game on the system by far and the only one that really uses the device's potential fully.
Super Stardust Delta is marvellous, TxK owned me for a good month and OlliOlli is very addictive although riddled with bugs.
Killzone is a great portable FPS and although it's a fairly shonky port Borderlands 2 is really suited to being a portable game.
Overall though, there's probably enough of a back catalogue to keep you busy for a while. The future looks pretty bleak though - indie ports are fine but it's sad that the promise in games like Tearaway etc isn't really ever going to be fulfilled. Sony have botched it horribly outside of Japan and I don't think it'll ever recover.
Nein!
Dynasty Warriors is button-mashing musou junk.
Persona 4 is a dating simulator crossed with rock/paper/scissors.
Japanese games used to be amazing. Now they are crap.
Ikaruga is too good. (And too hard!)
You can get it on XBLA for like 800 space bucks."My FROTHING demand for this game INCREASES!"
Well I guess you just lost your existence since I made all those titles up thus they can neither be good nor bad.I will bet my entire existence that they are uniformly utter shite.
You can get it on XBLA for like 800 space bucks.
Word of warning though, it's gimped in the most idiotic way possible. Basically, you can choose to have continues or not, with no in between. So you start with 3 continues or none, than after a few game overs, (three maybe?) it will throw you another continue and it does this all the way up until 9 continues (I think). After that, a few more failures grants you infinite continues making success simply a war of attrition, because you are clearly too shit to be playing it.
Which would be fine if you could choose between 3-9 continues, infinite, or none. But you can't, it's either infinite, or none. So success becomes simply a case of perseverance or a nigh on impossibly.
Dumb as fuck, totally killed the game for me. I'm not sure if the Dreamcast and Gamecube versions were the same, but my god what a stupid design decision.
I suppose you could technically delete your save and start the cycle all over again, but it's hardly the ideal solution is it.Lol, I played it on GCN back in the day. Great game, but never finished it, pretty sure the continue situation wasnt like that back then but could be wrong. Sounds dumb though.
don't listen to sploatee-chan, that baka gaijin is just being tsundere

Do people remember the R-Type games?
Those were my go to schmups backinnaday

Mumble mumble grumble mumble mumble.
Hell yes!!!! R-Type Delta!!! "Oh. I'm sorry. You died. BACK TO THE BEGINNING!"
Shorty, I don't mean to be so negative - there are good things on it, but if you're used to the big PSP library and you've already played most of the indies you might find it a bit limited. If you're a fan of modern Japanese games though, there are loads and loads and loads.
Factually correct.edit: the vita also has Earth Defense Force and recent studies have shown that anyone who doesn't like EDF are wrong about everything ever
Factually correct.
The Vita is great, currently playing Silent Hill on mine. Though I understand a PS1 era game isn't a great selling point its no different to mentioning the indie games! (that aren't as good as Silent Hill).
Danganronpa is good as well

You like EDF though. You just don't know it yet.Dammit!
I've already given my life today and now I'm wrong about everything too?
If this is what you get for owning a Vita, I'm trading it in. Leave me alone.
You like EDF though. You just don't know it yet.
I just bought FFX / FFX2 on Vita. Now there's a strange decision, I fucking hate JRPGs.
