Been a while since I posted in hyar.
Been unemployed for a week now. It's been fun but also a bit weird, I like sleeping in till the afternoon and being free to drink every evening but I'd also like something constructive to do as well that isn't applying fer jerbs.
I am now the proud owner of a provisional driving license so my passport doesn't need to come with me everywhere. Had my first go behind the wheel of my mum's car, succeeded in making her glasses fly off when I went a bit rough with the breaks. My experience could be filmed and called "101 Ways to Stall a Car" and I am now convinced that cars are too complicated.
Had fun Destiny raiding without that splooty person, was great.
My Welsh housemate is getting a TV later today so we'll portion out a chunk of our oversized kitchen and make a living room area with sofas and whatnot which means waving goodbye to our rubbish pool table, who soaked up so much spilt alchohol in the last year. Oh pool table, we hardly knew ye.
yeah raid was fun last night as ever, just all the banter got us through.
Shame about all of your cattle errors, did you get them herded in the end?
RIP pool table you sounded like an awesome consistently drunk guy.
I hope an admin doesn't stumbe across this, but my feelings towards gamergate is thus, all the people directly involved seemed like dickheads before it started.
then when the internet got involved they then used the only thing they knew, aka being a dickhead to convay to the media that they were dick heads.
All the death threats, doxxing and calling women all sorts yeah those guys doing that deserve all kinds of hell and the shock horror of finally uncovering that the games media is as bent as all over media is hardly shocking.
The only thing I have learned is if a person is a dick, and you give them a stage, you'll create an even bigger dick to deal with.
What worries me the most is the fact that some of the women involved in this have really basic and quite frankly shocking bad and mediocre writing abilities, making said people bullet proof would only hurt games journalism more.
Might I add the whole reason that games journalism is so bad and has gone to shit is these publishers of all the great AAA games block out anyone who leaks and gives unfavorable reviews,
so with that basis of course it's going to be a seriously corrupt sector to begin with anyway.
