In less ranty news, just spunked £300 on my gf's 30th birthday present, two days before I'm going to Vegas. My wallet is crying, good job I've found a casino/brewery that does a $7.99 steak dinner, think I'll be eating there most days. The present was one of those rally experience day things. After much research, I think I've booked the best one, Phil Price Driving School.

Wales has some of the best rally courses anyway, I'm envious! What are the cars you'll be in?

Had a great weekend back home in Sunderland; caught up with some primo peeps, ate some great food and spent way more money than I intended to.

Played the new call of duty last night, pushing my body to the limit on veteran.
It's actually the best call of duty game I have played in a long while.
Looking forward to finishing story as then the real fun begins, multiplayer....
The company new website came out today, pretty awesome, and the oyster reader was broken on my bus this morning so got a free ride. Today might be a better day.

I actually really like it. hopping around and boosting in mid air is great fun and changes how the game is played. The game is quite pretty too, some of the characters are really well rendered.

I tried telling you but you were so wrapped up in the delirium of the grind. MMO mechanics are toxic and anti-fun. Hearing someone talking about raiding for legendaries makes my soul sad.
Bayo looks so fun. I love how unabashedly sexy/ist it is, it's joyous. And Witch Time is one of the most satisfying mechanics in any game.
Well, there were still bits of Destiny I really enjoyed - the PvP was fun, the strikes and raid are fun the first few times and the exotic weapons are quite interesting. But I agree that they're all used in conjunction with unpleasant mechanics designed to make the game a lifestyle choice and something which can keep you numbly addicted for as long as possible.

I'm not sure it's either sexist or sexy! It's just high camp to me. Bayonetta is more like a drag queen than a woman!
But witch time is AMAZING. I love those bits in these 'character action' games where you are forced to fight someone who is effectively a mirror of you. The fights like that in Bayo 2 are like playing that bit in the Matrix films where Neo and Agent Smith are so evenly matched all their punches miss each other.
Haven't touched Bayo2 yet, replaying Bayo 1 first instead.... at I would if I wasn't constantly playing FFXIV

I do, I have. It's pretty good, I feel that MonHun is pretty much an unreachable pinnacle of this sort of game but so few feel even close to reaching it (hated Ragnarok Odyssey and Soul Sacrifice for example) but Freedom Wars might be the closest, followed by Toukiden and God Eater.

I like Arthur Gies! I don't agree with him but I can see why people might take that view. To me it's like "COLOUR! SPEED! STUFF HAPPENING! MUST IMPOSE ORDER ON CHAOS! FUNNY VOICE ACTING! COLOUR! SPEED!" punctuated with the game telling me "YOU SUCK! PRACTICE MORE!"
I guess I find it really far fetched that anyone could view the game as sexual in a serious way.
I can't be arsed with Freedom Wars. Hearing it's closer to MonHun than the other 'hunting' games just seals the deal.

Oh, no, it's really not that close to MonHun at all. It's more actiony with very fast melee and a big grappling mechanic. You can even play it a bit like a third person shooter.
Yes, the biggest problem I have is that all the story stuff is boring as fuck and I'm like "oh my god just give me a new mission to do goddamn" but no it wants to me to do even more running around and talking to people. I dunno about being tactical though lol been pretty much rushing in and doing a bunch of leap attacks with the thorn.

I'm surprised how much I'm enjoying the story in Shinovi Versus. Glad I double-dipped for an English version. That and the fact that I've suddenly learned how the other half of the combat works.
Edit: Oh shit! remastered GTA V! How could I forget that one? Definitely there day one. My backlog is completely insurmountable, and growing constantly.

FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK I need to get to Wales for this. The RS200 is one of the ultimate rally cars ever made. I went to see Fast & Furious (the 4th one) mostly because I saw an rs200 in the previews. haha
Just checked the website and it definitely says RS200. Could be a typo, I suppose but a pretty big one to make if there's a big difference.
I care not for cars.
Edit: Just checked a review and it said RS2000. So basically, I have no idea.

RS200 was made to compete in group B rally, rumour has it that they didn't even produce the 200 cars that would have been required to be classed as production car and thus allow it to compete. Something along those lines at least.
One of my favourite cars ever, I'm sure that would be a thrill to drive.
I'm not addicted, I can quit anytime! But yeah I usually just binge on it for a couple of months before not wanting to touch it until another update.
Never got into Tera, by the time I could actually play it the only people left were the super hardcore. Shame really because it seemed like something if really like; Korean-lewd.

I have about 20 costumes for my elin, all paid for with in game gold. Kinda miss it.
It'll almost certainly be a MK2 Escort RS2000. With good reason too, they're fucking awesome. There's a good reason that they still see a lot of privateer use to this day. The early Escorts are absolutely legendary.
The RS200 is awesome too, but not the sort of thing you'd want anyone to jump into (unless you aimed to kill them). They're also despicably valuable and terribly fragile.
