It's a fucking travesty. King fries were great, their current fries are rancid.
Yeah, the opposite has happened at KFC. The fries always used to be limp wet undercooked shite, and now they're lovely crispy fries.

I'm really not a fan of comedy songs. They often lack good timing and they have to tell the joke in a long winded way trying to fit it into a verse. There are a few comedy songs that are good though like Flight of the Concords' songs.

Early Brand stand up was even shitter. Dragging on homeless people off the street to perform with him, smashing dead mice with mallets and ending by shoving a barbie doll up his bare arse.
Typing that all out makes it sound funny but it was dull as he was deliberately trying to be shocking.
I think my one regret is spurning the chance I had to do a sparky apprenticeship at the age of 18. 17 years and many crappy career choices later, I'm working for a poop wage and paying for my own education to become a fully qualified spark. Less than a year to go though, thank fuck.
Same. I also found the combat lacked impact, which is weird since it's pretty much a straight rip from the Batman games.
Oh and the Nemesis system isn't that great.

didn't get a job i applied for, my phone order got cancelled because three call new customers on withheld numbers for security confirmation, our cat is sick, the guy we live with is a prat, i can't get a pay rise until at least march and i am sleepy. what a crappy day. at least i have the wonderful destiny to come home to.

That's how the combat feels to me too. The graphics seem really crap too - very bland, very colourless and very blurry. Already had a few glitches too. Oh well. I've heard it gets better the further in you get. So many people seem to love it so I'm gonna keep an open mind for now.

IQ seems fine to me, but then I played it on PC, but stylistically it's really lacking. I guess that's what happens when you make your open LotR game take place in the shit-hole of Middle Earth

it wasn't all bad in the end, the only real downer is the job but there will be others!
funny how a bit of a rant and then a few moments to reflect makes you feel better. definitely recommend the whole 'write yourself a letter' thing.
on another note i really want to play dragon age.

I say best is the radio show. GF has a soft spot for the TV show despite the shoddy edges, really likes it.
I didn't mind the film, it's still good fun. But by no means the best of Hitchhikers.

Yea, the orcs are all pretty great.
I'm glad they had the foresight to stick Middle-Earth in the title so we don't have to deal with game names as awful as what the Arkham series has become. Should hopefully save us from titles like Mordor City, Mordor Origins, Mordor Knight.

I've decided to sell it. I'm about five hours in and I just don't see the fuss. It's just assassins creed with no NPCs. It might get better but It just doesn't feel fun to play. And 30fps is actually bothering me, which is weird. Just downloading plants vs zombies garden warfare. Please be good! I don't want to become a Nintendrone!
Edit - I think I just don't like open world games. It's really annoying because everything seems to be an open world game these days. 😢 I'm just gonna buy a mega drive and live in a hut.

Busy, busy, busy. Juggling 3 practical assignments at once, all due for December. A documentary, a 2 minute excerpt from a script and a video about representation in the media. Joy of joys.
On the plus side though, I get December 11th to January 27th off for Christmas break. Granted 2 of those weeks are in Devon but it's still time off.
I believe he's going to specialise in patent law, in order to defend Samsung from Apple's disgraceful lawsuits.
