Titanfall is a tenner on xboxstore this weekend. Bought one this week for Sunset Overdrive or whatever it's called, someone described it as Jet Set Radio meets Crackdown and that's a magical combination for me. Have been really enjoying Dead Rising 3, was a bit disappointed when it looked as if it had done away with the levity of the game, but it nails the atmosphere with an amazingly good John Carpenter-esque soundtrack. Also, every videogame cutscene should have the protagonist wearing a Servbot head.
Sounds good! How are you finding it? How does it compare to the other two consoles?
Titanfall is the thing I'd like to play the most. It looks like the perfect game to play in short, intense bursts and looks like it might be a bit more noobie-friendly than Advanced Warfare.
Dunno, if that'll help, it just mechanically feels poor, hold attack press hotbar buttons, it's basically the combat in TERA. In fact the whole game feels like a single player mmo. Still good though.
also PS4 related: GTAV is still good, Samurai Warriors 4 is still good. I played the demo of Destiny that's floating around now, seemed okay despite my dislike of RPG + FPS mechanic, will probably buy the full game. Since I had the demo already installed I thought I would be better off getting it digitally but £55 lmao. no.
Ah...I don't know about how it is on PC. On console it feels quite chunky and satisfying. I actually had to turn the difficulty down from hard to normal because I was doing so badly. So it could be more to do with me not being used to these kinds of games.
I still play Destiny now and again. It's worth picking up, imo. I like the PvP because I'm average instead of terrible. The DLC comes out soon too. I'm not very excited for it, because I really don't want to have to start planning my life around a game, but it might be nice to play over the Christmas break when I'm not in work.

my saturday, bitchessss
I want to hug you all! You all look very huggable.
I work every day of the week :'( There is no end.
On a cheerier note, is DA: I any good? I have not gone next gen yet so your comparison with Mordor doesn't work for me. How tactical is the combat (relative to DA/BG2)?
Also what are the good games for PS4? I'm dead set on MGS and GTA but what are the hidden gems?
You can't work every day of the week, surely!? That's insanity.
I've not played either of those games. I think you can play it tactically but I'm not sure how deep it really is. I've gotten into a groove where I'll send in my two tanks while me and my mage sit back and attack from distance. The tactical view is very zoomed-in - to the point of being crap, really. So, just from my experience of playing more tactical games, I'm gonna go with 'not really very tactical unless you play at a harder level.".
It's the world and characters which really keep me interested. I'd say that exploration is really the essence of it; wandering around huge maps, finding bits of lore and new areas and doing little quests before going back and seeing how everyone is doing.
Hidden gems...umm. Not that well hidden, but I'd say Resogun is the best exclusive on the platform. Fez is just transcendent. Counterspy was great fun. And Rogue Legacy turned me into an addict for a week.

Separate topic, 8bit and Screaming Meat (or anyone else who listens to incomprehensible music), can you recommend me some good noise / drone music? I've been listening to some Merzbow, Boredoms and Acid Mothers Temple but I can't quite find what I'm looking for. Something with lots of noise but also hypnotic. Fennesz-y but not Fennesz.
